A district court jury has found Waltham Police Chief Thomas LaCroix guilty of twice assaulting his wife at the couple's Maynard home. LaCroix faces up to 2½ years in prison for each incident at his sentencing July 10.

He’ll get 30 - 90 days in a county jail, two years probation, mandatory anger-management counseling, and lose his job. Once convicted of domestic violence, in any state, you are no longer eligible to own or carry a firearm.
