Aaron Hernandez back in court Thursday

(CNN) -- Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, charged with the murder of a Massachusetts man, will be back in a courtroom Thursday for a bail hearing.

Hernandez will appear at Fall River, Massachusetts, Superior Court at 2 p.m. to appeal a judge's decision to hold him without bail, the court magistrate told CNN.

A second man arrested in connection with the murder investigation is also expected to appear before a judge.

Carlos Ortiz was arrested in Bristol, Connecticut, on Wednesday and will have an initial hearing in Attleboro, Massachusetts, District Court as early as Thursday, a source with knowledge of the investigation told CNN.

Hernandez is accused in last week's shooting death of Odin Lloyd, whose body was found in an industrial park area less than a mile from Hernandez's home.

Wherever this guy went, shootings followed. He was questioned in college about one, earlier this year, this current one he is in jail for, and now a double murder in 2012.

I'm sure the coddling and covering up of this guy along the way helped him continue his possible serial kiling.

He grew up in suburban Bristol, Connecticut.

Bristol Connecticut is not "the hood."

It is almost 90% white, average family income is $60K/year, median home price is $180K, unemployment is below national average, less than 5% of families there are defined as below poverty line, and less than 40% of registered voters are Democrats.

Aaron Hernandez sought out crime and degeneracy.

He was raised in a nice community.

“...the bright side of prison life.”

I’m a bit tired today but I really can’t find any “bright side” of prison life.

i wonder if the recent murder was connected to these earlier ones? could he have been trying to cover up the earleir ones?

maybe the latest guy new something and was blackmailing him? or something?

the whole thing doesnt compute. how dumb can you be to shoot some guy near your home then delete the security camera stuff.

I've been through Bristol many times. Check some Google street views - it is a sleepy, boring suburban town 20 miles south of Hartford.

Any gang activity that may manifest itself in Bristol would be connected with suburban recreational drug use being supplied from Hartford.

It is not a ghettoified area.

He went to New Britain to find trouble. There are some gang bangers in Bristol but that’s mostly overflow from New Britain. I don’t know how this guy learned the complex playbook of the Patriots? It seems as though he is as dumb as a box of rocks.
