"We are in a Muslim country, so we certainly cannot have it here," he said. "And for me it's not OK to have this anywhere in the world."

Ouch! Not only did the President of Senegal tell Obama that his country wasn't interested in gay rights, but he told him that America was wrong to support it as well.

Sometimes I think if Christians stood up for Biblical morality with even 10% of the passion that Muslims defend the Koran, this country would be in a lot better shape.

You’re exactly right.

we do stand up for it, but since we don’t threaten people with violence and behead people or blow things up they are not afraid to ignore us.

with muzzies jihad is integral in their religion, forced conversion or death is integral in their religion, maltreatment of non-muzzies is inherent in their religion, honor killings, if they die in jihad they think they get paradise with ever-virginal women, so they are afraid of these folks when they tell them something.

I was living in Tennessee when klinton and gore went on the ticket. I was living in gore's area and those people refused to hear truth. And they were devout worship attending Christians. But they insisted on closing their eyes.

With lethargy, ignorance and stubborness like that among people of faith, it's no use.

That wasn’t the president of Senegal. Just Joe Schmoe.

Bingo. We were called to be salt and light, but we have grown bland and dull.

I also think we should stop eating shell fish too. We need to follow the Bible perfectly so that the left can no longer bash us for using passages that we feel we want to. I don’t understand why we don’t follow the Bible word for word. I know I have given up shell fish a few years ago so that when I say that Homosexuality is a sin and they try to stump me. I say well I don’t eat shell fish either and boy do they shut the heck up. I never understood why conservative christians don’t follow the Bible more.

Guess which culture will win between the “squishy everything goes” tolerance of the West and the committed and firm moral militant-ism of Islam.

In the same way as God gave Hezekiah a visit from the Babylonians to foreshadow who would some day punish Israel, it is entirely possible that corrupt America was just shown the power that would some day punish a North American Sodom.

If they did, gay marriage would have never seen the light of day in a courtroom.

We would most assuredly find ourselves in better stead under such a circumstance. Replete is the panoply of history with divine blessing of nations that uphold His laws, striving for the good and noble. This extends even to non-Christian lands whose degree of conformity to His law makes them "a law unto themselves".

We celebrate debauchery and deviance to our own great peril. We sip the bitter juice of fruit cultivated in the vineyards of unrighteousness. And we mock those who make the connection as backwards and superstitious.

We call evil good, and good evil.

Maybe, but don’t overestimate the number of serious Christians in this country. Many only consider themselves “Christian” until they meet some religious impediment to behavior they want to pursue.
