Yawn... The story doesn’t get interesting until he’s being chased by a parade of police cars while riding in the back of a white Ford Bronco.

Actually, Bradshaw said on a late night talk show last year that the NFL is slowly dying and soccer will be the American pasttime of the future.

I tend to agree, the English Premier League is skyrocketing in popularity over here. and the new contract with NBCSports means now every game will be available here.
I watch it more than the NFL.

I would also note, that despite the problems with the NHL lockout and the shortened season, the ratings for the Stanley Cup Playoffs were at record levels this year.
I think part of that is more and more Americans are rejecting the “thug” sports of football and basketball.

Not only the NFL, but college football is getting to that point as well. Getting to? Do you remember the game between the U of Miami and Notre Dame that was billed "Convicts vs Catholics" in 1988? It goes way back.

I did enjoy the NHL playoffs and I increasingly watch high level soccer. But I still looovvve the NFL!
The fault doesn't really lie with them - it starts with the good athletes being protected and not educated and disciplined from high school thru college and onto the pros. To many adults making money off the kids' backs to dare set tough standards for them.
There are a lot of good guys in the NFL. If the league wises up and severely cracks down on tolerating off-field behavior there is hope.

They let Michael Vick back in, that did it for me.

Gotcha, but he did serve his jail time before he was let back in. He was initially suspended for his behavior. Dunno if you can legally lifetime ban a player in the NFL if he served his time and surrendered to the legal process. Not defending Vick, jus sayin’

Yep. The race to cut a deal is on!
Do these guys not watch TV at all? If even half the stuff they can do on crime shows like CSI and NCIS is possible how did they expect to get away with this? Nearly every show features cell phone GPS and tower tracking. And since he just installed like 14 video cameras in his house wouldn't he think to turn them off? Either we are not talking about Wile E. Coyote, super genius, or he really thought he could get away with it because of who he is (was) or both.
And is anyone else at least insulted/worried/concerned at the ease with which the Police were able to get surveillance footage of these morons? Just how many cameras are there in Mass? Even, it appears, on dark roads leading to Industrial Parks.
