Even if you have an account at the bank? And if you tell them you don’t have it on you, do they refuse to complete the transaction?

My bank isn’t asking for a DL. The fact that I have an account at that bank should be good enough for them.

Yes, they insisted they needed the DL, even though in person with checkbook, ATM card in hand. Of course they want it when at the drive up window, but never knew what they used it for until I went inside the bank.

They claim as in the doctor office “to prevent fraud”.

After expressing my disgust at the practice several times they don’t ask - at least not lately.
