Some of the supposedly most “educated” Americans, those who hold post graduate degrees, helped to elect the band of demons who now run this country. “Low information” is not the real problem, refusal to recognize reality is the problem. We have a strange phenomenon of people who have triple digit IQ numbers, some of them in the actual genius range, who steadfastly refuse to recognize what is going on in front of their faces. The way I express it now is that people must make a choice, you cannot praise the founders, praise all the great men and women of the nineteenth and early twentieth century and at the same time praise the demons who have taken over this country. If you believe what is going on now makes sense you are saying that your grandparents and all who preceded them were mentally deranged. It is one way or the other. I personally think my parents, grandparents and others before them were humans who made mistakes but I don’t think they were all nutcases.
One way or the other folks, one way or the other, it cannot be both ways. If you say we have a good president now you are saying George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and most of the others were all terrible presidents and you are calling Benjamin Franklin, a man who has often been listed as one of the greatest thinkers in history a fool. One way or the other. As for myself I am more amazed at the brilliance of the founders everyday. I will stop now before I really begin to rant.
I agree with you that there are those triple digit IQ idiots out there that vote for Obama. But, they have BEEN out there forever!
They are the intellectually dishonest that choose the liberal side because they are congregated together, graduated together, work, socialize and scheme together to get the largess the government liberal politicians reserve for large cash contributions and for creation of issues that foment societal disease. Informing them won’t change a damned thing.
Why do you think Obama and his ilk are so vehement in their plans for illegal immigrants, voter ID, citizenship requirements removal? To increase his voter base....all he needs to do for the triple IQs is to pander to their pet foibles and give them government cash in the form of education/research grants, pork money for their businesses, etc.
Isn’t the basic problem not “information” but the subordination of rational analysis to emotion? This is a product of limited natural ability for some, and the extended immaturity which our shallow, Left-driven culture promotes relentlessly. This can render even high-IQ individuals into easy prey for hucksters.
