Hiking electricity costs and killing jobs en masse, his Environmental Protection Agency will shutter existing coal-fired power plants and make new ones impossible.

"Congress should move immediately to defund as much of this as possible," says Myron Ebell, director of the Competitive Enterprise Institute's Center for Energy and Environment. That's the last, best hope for stopping this monstrous plan.

Wasserman Shultz literally laughed when a GOP congresswoman said the war on Coal would economically devastate the coal producing regions in the US and have wide ranging impacts nationwide on the news this morning.

It’s hard to imagine just what it will take to get the numb-nuts in the republican party to put up a fight against the tyranny of Obama.

Yeah, good luck with that, Myron.

Given the political climate of the Politburo (AKA Congress), there isn't a single person who will stand up to zero and say "No, enough is enough!"

What will it take to make Americans act to take control of their government from the thieves, liars, criminals and thugs currently running it? Will it be metered electricity that allows us only 5 hours of electricity per day and may (shudder - HORRORS!!) cause us to miss a single episode of American Idol, Survivor, or Dancing with the Twits!??

When is enough enough?? When do "we, the people" who own this government lock, stock and barrel push back and say not only "no", but "H$LL NO!"?

This electricity grid thingy is just a passing fad anyway.

I just plain don't care.

I've converted almost all of our lighting to LED. Adding more solar to our water heating system, etc.

I grew up for the first six years without electricity, running water or telephones. Very little heat in the winter.

We could survive ok off the grid with no problem, just get's a little easier as we make improvements.

Screw the Obama voting city dwellers.

Let them live in the dark.

They voted for it, they can suffer the consequences.

What’s the point of environmental protection and energy conservation if you’re going to allow millions of trespassing foreign nationals flood across the boarder without restriction to consume and pollute the resources of existing citizens?

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls our climates.

3. The earth is a rock.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?
