When Jimmy was campaigning for president, he was quoted by the press as saying that he thought neighborhoods should be able to maintain “ethnic purity.” He apologized and explained, etc., and was forgiven and elected. Jimmy Carter: Recovering Racist, Still a Bigot

Carter stopped by the Rebel Room Tavern, a bar that once existed near the old Woolworth building and catered to southern servicemen based near by (Ft. Drum). Not knowing that an employee from the local paper was present, Carter joked around with the locals and, as two of those locals related the story to my friend, "every other word out of his mouth was 'nigger' or 'kike.'"

Personally, I am not in the practice of destroying people for what they say, beyond my own actions (not buying products, watching their movies, etc) and I think it would be better if all Americans learned to grow a thicker skin. But in this case, there is an extremely relevant aspect to this process of liberals destroying someone who engaged in "hate speech".

The valuable thing in all of this, as pathetic as it is to watch, is to watch the spectacle of a true believer begin the saga by using the platform of her show to advance the cause of the two most liberal, anti-American, radical racists ever to occupy the living quarters at the White House only to see her consumed in the end by the very thing she advocated in her ignorance.

It is the parable of the scorpion and the frog in real life.

PAULA: “You two are charismatic, young and ALL of you stand for everything I stand for! If I have Michelle and Barack on my show, you all will treat me well, won’t you?”

MICHELLE, BARACK AND THE LIBERAL ESTABLISHMENT: “Of course we will. Why wouldn’t we? We would get to the White House, and your show will prosper! We both have a lot to gain.”

PAULA: “I helped advance the cause, didn’t I? You said you would treat me right, didn’t you? Well, I...wait...wait...what? No, I am not a racist! I love you guys, we stand for the same things! I had you on my show, I donated money, had parties to raise money for you...I...”

MICHELLE, BARACK AND THE LIBERAL ESTABLISHMENT: You planned a southern style wedding with black only servants. You used the “N” word.

PAULA: “No! Wait...I’m no racist! You are misinterpreting what I said! I have always been one of the strongest backers of hate speech legislation! I have never believed there was any gray area or context involved...hate speech is hate speech, and must be punished all the time and everywhere, with no exceptions!”

MICHELLE, BARACK AND THE LIBERAL ESTABLISHMENT: “Exactly.”

PAULA: “But I am not a racist, this is what I meant when I used the *N* word...I was trying to explain how it wasn’t always a bad thing! Look you use the *N* word to talk to each other, and I was one of you!”

MICHELLE, BARACK AND THE LIBERAL ESTABLISHMENT: “Sorry. Racist. We are beginning a campaign to have you fired. Our objective is to make people like you pariahs. Racist.”

PAULA: “I’m a good person! I mean well! I am an advocate of women and minorities! I supported you! I’m one of you! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME, WHEN YOU ***PROMISED*** ME YOU WOULD TREAT ME WELL! WHY? WHY ARE YOU DESTROYING ME WHEN YOU ***PROMISED*** ME! WHY?”

MICHELLE, BARACK AND THE LIBERAL ESTABLISHMENT: (nonchalantly smiling) “We cannot help it. It is in our nature. It is who we are.”

One would hope that there are some liberals out there who have watched this unfold and thought “There for the grace of God go I...” and take a different look at things because of it.

As conservatives, every one of us knows that "hate speech" can be leveled at any one of us by liberals, because simply speaking the truth (such as: "The majority of violent crime is committed by a small part of the population, young black men" or "The vast majority of terrorist attacks worldwide are carried out by muslim men between the ages of 18 and 45") can be defined as "hate speech". Thing is, liberals NEVER understand that. They are always the most surprised when their own machinery turns on them. To quote Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn (in his description of how Soviets reacted when the government knocked on their door to arrest them) they would say in puzzlement: "Me? What for?" This is what is going on with Paula Deen. "Me? What for? I am one of you, I support you and all the things you believe in!" So it is always a possibility that some liberals might see this and understand.

I know. It is fantasy. But like that Despair.com poster of the rusted bow of a ship sticking out of the water with the caption: "Mistakes: It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others" we can always ***hope*** it makes someone see the light.
