Obama should go there and accept the presidency
The Brotherhood thought that having power was going to be a snap, and that their job description consisted of being Islamic bullies.
Funny thing, people want food, electricity and petrol too.
IIRC, the anti-Mubarak posters had professionally printed signs. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if Obama had a hand in it; his goal throughout the ME has been to install the Muslim Brotherhood in power, and he probably took advantage of dissatisfaction with Mubarak (not because of dictatorial behavior, actually, but because the economy wasn’t doing well and Mubarak was trying to make some changes to it to make it more competitive) to destabilize things a bit more via his MB associates.
A black op detail will take care of that. OR, a US Embassy will conveniently be attacked, justifying "protection of US assets."
0dinga won't officially or directly get his own hands dirty. When something goes wrong, some lower food-chain gopher will get blamed. After all, he is a respected Nobel Peace Prize winner.
Hand-made signs are usually the work of a Unionized, well-planned, Commie-type operations, aren't they? NOT as spontaneous as the compliant media portrayed.
I agree with your assessment of motivation: To install the MB in power, undercut Mubarak's secular clout, but also to exaggerate the dissatisfaction with Mubarak -- as with Qaddafi in secular Libya. The media's collusion was instrumental in controlling both the narrative and public opinion. Moreover, the timing in both nations was all too perfect. IMO 0dinga doesn't have THAT much power. The puppetmeisters at the UN might.
When he already has a Kingdom here in America? If anything he'd accept the position as Emperor. OF THE WORLD.

He was stumping for the position today in Africa. He was offering them clean energy, Internet and billions and billions of our dollars. Reminded me he was still on the campaign..
Yes. What's the next stepping stone up from President of the United States and Commander in Chief of her Military, again?

Freepers have been posting there all day. Great pictures
I’ve been wondering what he was thinking of doing next, what more powerful position he wanted to move on to after leaving the Presidency (if he does). He will have weakened us sufficiently by then so that we really won’t be a great power anymore.
I used to think Secretary General of the UN was his goal, but I’m not sure that’s it. Theoretically a citizen of a member of the Security Council can’t be Secy Genl, but rules have never meant anything to Obama so I’m sure he could have that changed. Or he could announce that he’s actually a Kenyan or Indonesian citizen after all.
But I think he’s looking for something African, although I don’t see any positions there at the moment that he would consider grand enough for The Won. I definitely get the feeling he’s looking for his next stop, though.
When they find out that the US administration is sending 200 Marines to the embassy, will they be happy about it?
