She should have told the N@##%@s to kiss her lily white cracker a$$
In the South 50 years ago, the n word was nasty, tacky, low class gutter language, as was spick or some of the nastier words for women that we can’t post, it is like someone today who you think of as a well spoken respectful person, who casually uses “trailer trash” and you suddenly take a second look at them, and realize that they aren’t quite the quality person you thought.
Someone using the n word 50 years ago still gave you an insight into a person, it was never for quality people.
Because celebrity is fickle. One day the crowd's love you, next day they love to hate you.
In the South, the n-word was a phrase often spoken by past generations about any black person, not even said with any disdain, anger or hate. It was just a description, the same way black or African-American is used today as an identifier. Officially, the word was “negro” but Southerners just have their ways of slurring pronunciations differently than Yankees do.
As some blacks were considered thieves or criminals and as some were thought to be lazy or indifferent, the n-word took shape as a negative word - some to people who deserved it and others who were condemned by race or association.
That blacks use it amongst themselves is actually a form of satire (why conform to the white standards if we are all just n-s?).
I honestly would not condemn someone who used the phrase in their past and regret it today. I don’t want to see the word resurrected in popular use. But history is as it is and culture is as it is and I prefer that we not cleanse history and culture from what it was. It was a time when sensibilities about many things were different - some for better, some for worse.
I wouldn’t even know who Paula Deen is or who she voted for today except for this controversy which, IMO, is ridiculous in itself. Should others be persecuted for using the word “Hymietown” or “Hymies”? Should we persucte anyone who ever used the terms “Kraut”, “Mick”, “Gook”, “Dago”, etc? Just accept it and move on.
No, I am not Paula Deen. I have not aided and abetted the Democrat agend of destroying America for years. I have not aided and abetted in the slaughter of the innocent [unborn and partially born babies by abortion and partial birth aboution]. As far as I am concerned, she got what she deserved. As the Apostle Paul wrote, “Be not deceived,as one sows, one also reaps.”
I believe it’s time to hunt down and kill the entire cast of “Blazing Saddles”.
Anybody remember these:
Black licorice flavoured candies formed in the shape of a small person with their arms down at their side. They are approximately 2” tall by 1/2” wide & thick. Nigger Babies were sold as such for decades, until the later 1980’s-mid 1990’s when their name was changed to Licorice Babies to avoid derrogatory racial use of the word Nigger being ingrained in children’s vocabulary as acceptable.
Nothing in politics is EVER what it seems on the surface. Paula Deen and George Zimmerman are the subject of media persecution because somebody sees political advantage in it. Both of these situations have the potential to agitate the black community and get them to the polls. We will probably see more of these shenanigans before the 2014 election.
How much rioting would O need to declare martial law?

LOL. Our local CO-OP sells Grimaldi’s Dog food. The sack is something to behold. It shows a boxer dog with boxing gloves hitting something.
The sack reads..GRIMALDI’S DOG FOOD! WOPING TO PLEASE! DAGO FOR GRIMALDIS!
