The next American Revolution will be televised and recorded.
Grass roots conservationism has the numbers but it's message becomes easily diluted in the face of liberal media control of the narrative.
I suggest we take back the narrative.
My proposal:
Create a half dozen "permanent" threads on FreeRepublic that will serve as a clearinghouse or central hub for conservative activism using the electronic media.
A place where we can consolidated ideas into short "Twitter Bombs" that are targeted to both media heads, politicians and business leaders.
There is plenty of talent here for the creation of content. Content that is bold, biting and to the point.
I would also suggest that participants adopt a twitter handle that includes FreeRepublic, so we can drive traffic to this website.
We need to get in their face in a different way. All of these people are fundamentally insecure narcissists.
Create a "how to use twitter" thread.
Create a directory of "targets".
Create threads for specific issues; Gun Control, Immigration, Foreign Affairs, etc...
Create a library of content for each issue. Content being "cut and paste" twitter bombs.
I envision current and new FR users logging in and using the these clearinghouses to send messages without the feeling that they are alone.
Free Republic can be the center of this revolution.
I’ll bump the suggestion. We need every weapon we can muster in this war.
I’d like to see an Education thread or area of content. I have a lot of ideas and I think this should be a real conservative issue. Not necessarily in terms of testing ad nauseum, but in terms of creating a new exciting dynamic in the class room. Democrats have controlled education for decades and look at the fiasco that they’ve produced!
I too would like to see FR a clearinghouse for independent editorials, but I just don’t think it will happen. I know we have some talented writers here, but their tomes are hard to find due to the layout of FR. There would have to be a little makeover to get FR up to the editor managed heights of Hotair or Breitbart, etc., but its certainly possible.

I am looking for the powers that be, here on FR to create “permanent threads” for this activism.
For too long our message has been diluted both among ourselves and certainly in the “Mainstream”.
These threads should be focused in such a way that the content is filtered to the top.
I’m not sure you will make much of a difference doing that. People watch television and listen to radio. That’s expensive, but the internet versions of each are not. Streaming programming that is interesting and educational will have the biggest impact.
Helping people understand and articulate conservative ideas will stimulate conversation and interest.

If a thousand people a day, sent messages to the targets I am talking about, and sent them EVERYDAY, they will be forced to address us.
I’m not trying to educate.
The goal is to undermine their confidence by exposing their insecurity.

Realistically, if we collapse into war the power grid, communications networks, and water systems are pretty much guaranteed to be down for the duration.
So no, not as much as you might think will be recorded in the electricity sparse environment war would create here.

I need an “auto tweet” app.
An app that I can schedule my tweets to go out automatically to my targets and contain either fixed or alternating messages.
If it has not been done already, well, I just gave someone a multimillion dollar idea.
WTSHTF, we may have shortwave radio by which to communicate, if they don't figure out how to jam the entire spectrum, that is. Then again, there's EMP if the Muzzies get involved, and anti-satellite weapons in the Chicoms and/or Russians do. Don't count on the internet or cable when the rounds start going downrange.
