The US had nothing to o with ousting Mubarack or scheduling the election dates in Egypt. Sorry, does not meet the standard for evidence.

Do you honestly believe that the world's most powerful man calling for the leader of a nation to step down and the world's most powerful man also signs the multi-billion dollar checks each year that keeps said nation afloat that there is no evidence that the world's most powerful man had anything to do with events?

Ryan Crocker. He was the 1st political officer in Cairo when I first worked for him. He was mentored by Frank Wisner.

Patterson replaced him in Pakistan. Crocker was recently charged with a DUI. I don't know how effective he really was in Iraq and Afghanistan. Obviously, both countries are going down the toliet nullifying the blood and treasure we invested in those countries. The failure to get a SOFA in Iraq was criminal. No doubt, that was Obama's objective.

I gather you mean he was the Counselor for Political Affairs, i.e., the head of the political section. When did you serve in Cairo? Were you an FSO?

Back then, his position was called first secretary for political affairs. I worked with the FS, but not a FSO myself. I was there in 88.
