To: Boogieman

Can the truth ever be somewhere between, that it may have been an excessive expenditure, but it did manage to quantify a psychological phenomenon that “everyone knows” (i.e. only those who actually care about normal child upbringing, a smaller and smaller set)? Why so cynical? If the cynicism is withheld, this could be viewed as another opening against the advocates of early infanticide.

Because they’re most likely spending my money to do this study, and we have MUCH more important things to spend that on. Once we’ve plugged the holes in Social Security funding, established serious border security/immigration enforcement, and stopped borrowing money from China to pay for all our government largesse, then maybe I’ll listen to why these superfluous studies are actually important.
