The GOP House must KILL the Senate’s Immigration BILL, and the time for us to act is now. Today, tomorrow, this coming week!
Like Rush said on Wednesday, Free Republic was the Tea Party before there was a Tea Party”.
The House is the last stop between Amnesty and saving our Republic.
We have been told that the House Leadership will meet on or about July 10, 2013 to decide on how they’re going to deal with the “Senate’s Immigration Reform Bill.”
They are caught between big money interests and the will of the people, meaning us, those they represent.
We know the House must be our firewall to prevent this odious bill from going to reconciliation.
There are two ways it can be passed. First they can bring up and debate the Senate bill, then vote on it. That’s the least likely way it will happen, they won’t dare do this.
The other way it can happen is to fashion a bill that sounds goods, paying homage to even stricter border security, or some such bilge that will never be enacted.
If they do that, or anything at all with the illegal immigration issue this term, it will go to conference and be reconciled with the Senate bill.
Some of you have already had some luck with your representatives who are sympathetic to our conservative cause. A lot of people are calling and writing, asking their congressman to tell the House leadership to just say no to any debate and to any bill in any form.
There are strong signs the calls are beginning to have a positive effect. It’s vitally important now, for all of us to burn up the phone lines, burn up the fax lines, and e-mail our representatives and the House leadership to KILL the Senate’s BILL.
All of us must do our part and also ask our families and friends to the very same, even if our US Representatives are not on our side and likewise regarding the US Reps of our families and friends.
Calls and e-mails count!
A couple of points you might want to get across:
1. Remind them of how the Senate and the House were lost to democrat leadership after the last attempted betrayal on illegal immigration.
2. Remind them (nicely and passionately) that we are perfectly capable of replacing them once again should they repeat their mistake.
3. Remind them that this bill is bad for America, bad for the economy, and bad for the workers of this country.
4. Remind them we are a party of ideas, not pandering. The idea that we will be liked more for passing the Senate bill or any kind of amnesty bill is untrue; actually it’s media and democrat driven.
5. Ask them not to bring up the matter for debate, not to bring ANY bill that could go to conference with the Senate. No bill, no conference, just say no! This is not something the American people want.

My 2 cents from 2010: Amnesty: The Line in the Sand.
From Washington's speech at the battle of Long Island:
"The fate of unborn Millions will now depend, under God, on the Courage and Conduct of this army — Our cruel and unrelenting Enemy leaves us no choice but a brave resistance, or the most abject submission; this is all we can expect — We have therefore to resolve to conquer or die: Our own Country’s Honor, all call upon us for a vigorous and manly exertion, and if we now shamefully fail, we shall become infamous to the whole world."
If a sham amnesty bill passes, we have no choice - We the People have to water the tree of liberty. . It will be our last chance.
The left always threatens riots if this or that racial issue doesn't go their way. Well, if amnesty passes, they will discover our resolve.

What else is hiding in this bill?
Accuracy in Media reports that the immigration “reform” bill includes two “slush funds” amounting to $150,000,000 that may be supplemented with additional taxpayer dollars for years to come. These funds would go to “public or private, non-profit organizations such as the blood-thirsty La Raza, Casa de Maryland, and the leftist American Immigration Lawyers Association!
These, and multiple latino organizations are devoted to helping illegals apply for legal status. The bill not only provides amnesty for illegal immigrants, but does so as well for their employers.
As the conservative Center for Immigration Studies points out, “Illegal aliens will be rewarded for breaking laws for which American citizens are routinely punished” such as the use of fraudulent Social Security cards, while imposing a $1,000 penalty that “in many cases would be waived. Then they would be issued a new Social Security number without any past bad credit or arrest records.”

The politicians are not reflecting the concerns of the American people. They talk about paths to citizenship, etc. Most of the public know what this issue is all about. It's time to cut through the baloney and squarely face the real question:
Do we want or need several million more Mexicans working, living and voting in the United States? Yes or no. For most people, that is the important question, but our politicians try to obscure the issue.
