State Department admits Kerry was on yacht day of Egypt coup

(CNN) - After the emergence of photographs showing Secretary of State John Kerry on his 76-foot yacht “Isabel” on Nantucket Sound on Thursday, the State Department issued an embarrassing correction Friday morning, back-tracking and acknowledging that the Secretary was in fact on the yacht on Wednesday, the day the Egyptian military staged a coup against democratically-elected Egyptian President Mohamed Morsy.
Originally, State Department officials were quick to deny a Wednesday tweet from CBS News’ Mosheh Oinounou that: “A @CBSThisMorning producer just spotted Secretary of State Kerry on yacht in the Nantucket Boat Basin. No response when she shouted ‘Morsi.’”

State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki issued a statement Wednesday saying “any report or tweet that he was on a boat is completely inaccurate.”

The nuances are important to this little story. When the 2 CBS reporters found Kerry on his yacht, one called out “Morsi!” to see what JF’nKerry would say or do (like give a thumbs up or down).
Kerry ignored them.
So they reported that Kerry was on the boat.
Now, reporters are easily cowed by a Left-Wing Administration, typically.
So the State Department just denied that Kerry was on his yacht, figuring that the reporters would back down.
...but these two CBS reporters are Egyptian!
They took pictures of Kerry on his yacht, and they aren’t happy with 0bama for trying to prop up Morsi.
They didn’t back down.
This turned the tables on the State Department, which then had to admit lying.

Wednesday was a Holiday Eve at Fox. I guess the assumption by Fox management is that nobody is watching. This would never have happened if there had been a Zimmerman Trial Verdict that day. But an historical revolution in Egypt apparently isn't news at Fox. More important to give their anchors a rest and play some pre-recorded infomercial quality faux-news.

Would he have done anything if he was NOT on his yacht?
The administration is adored and idolized by the media for their supposed cutting edge knowlede and expertise in digital data and communications.
Almost everywhere we go there are security cameras and people taking photos with cell phone cameras. It is almost impossible to go anywhere in public without being captured on a digital imaging device of some sort.
But apparently, when the State Department lied about the incident, it never dawned on them that someone with a cell phone or digital camera might have a picture of Lurch boarding his Mega-Yacht.
We’re in the Nantucket Boat Basin every summer. Kerry’s sailboat cannot be missed and easily photographed.
He’s a Democrat, its ok/sarc
