John Kerry and Water Sports: An Unfortunate History
The Atlantic ^ | Jul 5 2013, 1:58 PM ET | David A. Graham

...

The setting is what makes it so eyeroll-worthy. If Kerry had been seen at a barbecue, no one would bat an eye. But on board a $7 million yacht? It just doesn't seem like he's working hard.

The incident fits a pattern for Kerry: a strange penchant for foppish gaffes involving water sports. First, of course, there was the epic television ad that George W. Bush ran against Kerry during the 2004 presidential campaign. Using footage of Kerry windsurfing and comparing his zig-zagging to a supposed propensity to change his positions...

Then fast-forward to 2010, when then-Senator Kerry admitted that he had listed the home port for the yacht, Isabel, as being in Rhode Island, rather than Nantucket -- a move that saved him half a million dollars in taxes. Under criticism, he voluntarily cut a $500,000 check to the state of Massachusetts to cover the sales tax.

The town collects excise tax, not the state. Oversight, I suppose. Nantucket must have a whopping fat town treasury.

Don’t forget that Kerry thought he was in Cambodia during Christmas 1969 and was being shot at by celebrating So. Vietnamese troops (who are mainly Buddhists, dumbass).

This guy should never be let near a body of water unless it is a reenactment of Chappaquidick with him playing the role of Mary Jo Kopeckne.

We put a torpedo up his lying ass in 2004 (re the Swiftboat veterans) but America has become so dumbed-down, gullible, and uneducatible that he is now the Secy of State.

It is a little like having “Dr. Irwin Corey” (the comedian and Commmunist Party USA member) as the head of the American Medical Association.

Kerry is, like some many in the Obama regime including Obama himself, a fraud, a narcisstic prick, and a danger to America.

If there is ever a case for “truth in advertising”, it should be the label on a bottle of Heinz products. It should be a picture of Kerry holding up a picture of his wife, Teresa Heinz, and a quote bubble saying “You don’t think I married her for her ketchup, do you?”

Another watery mishap:

"JOHN Kerry once rescued his children's pet hamster from the sea and gave it the kiss of life. The rescue happened during a family sailing trip when the family's pet labrador knocked the hamster's cage into the sea.

Kerry then dived in and pulled the cage to the surface with an oar before giving mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to the tiny rodent. The tale was told by Kerry's daughter Alexandra to show the human side of her dad who some have branded as dour."

Hey John Hanoi Kerry, where is your honorable discharge? Why did you get busted to the lowest grade seaman form O3? You are still a screw up!

You’re right. He was in VN from about late Oct. 1968- early March, 1969. My typo.

Now, I was in Cambodia in November, 1970. The only SVN soldier I saw there was Gen. Cao Tri, ARVN’s top armored commander.

It is really funny. There are mainly Cambodians in Cambodia, something Kerry failed to recognize, unless you include the 6 NVN divisions stationed there for attacks on SVN (1st, 3rd, 5th 6th, 7th & 9th). You won’t read much about the 6th Division until is shows up at An Loc in 1972. I interviewed a couple NVA POWS in Cambodia who identified themselves as being in the 6th PAVN Division. Who knew?

Yeah, LBJ was so tired and wore out he let Richard Nixon run the Viet Nam war on a day-to-day basis. This sometimes caused friction between Nixon and then Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara.

Is this the water-based equivalent of a limousine liberal?

As reported in the Daily Mail, his spokespersons denied that he was there on his yacht even AFTER being confronted with inarguable evidence.

This administration seems to lie a lot, even about seemingly trivial things. Lies come very easy to them, but they are becoming very sloppy about it.
