Didn’t know that they only went to one training center for all ANG pilots. Now that I think about it, for years active duty centers have been 100%+ full for training needs and most likely couldn’t handle any overflow.
Would suck though for severe restrictions on flying and if they can’t be eased, a move might be in order.

Yep, that’s exactly why they’re asking to expand.
The expansions they’re asking for are not a big deal, really. The Eastern part is mostly mountain and high desert they use for low altitude and terrain following technique, that part of the state is very sparsely populated.
The Western part is mostly over ocean for air to air combat and probably will not affect the coastal towns much if at all.

“F-15” is the official type (official name), not “F15.”
