Bullcrap. EMERCOM is a Russian federalized firefighter and paramedic force. Not even a paramilitary. They don’t have guns but probably among the best in the world in their business. FEMA has to learn something from them.
Numerous nations including NATO members and Israel are happy to see EMERCOM “troops” for rescue and relief ops in case on earthquake, flood or fires.

OK, but the timing of this is peculiar. In the past few days, Obama has turned his attention away from the Middle East, where he has where ever since Benghazi he has been siding with Islamic fundamentalists against Russia’s Syrian Ally, Assad. Now, all of a sudden, he turns his attention from that to concentrate on “Global Warming”?? Moreover, this has come at a time when the American public has lost all interest in global warming , due to the weak economy and bleak employment picture.

IMO, it is overinflated and misinterpreted to make some nuts ballistic and start crackdown on Tea Party. “15000 Russian troops speaking perfect English wearing US uniform”.
