Got my hopes up there, was hoping she’d replace Murkowski!
To: TomGuy
When I saw the headline, I was hoping she was talking about plans to replace McCain.

I disagree. She essentially said that the current candidates are inadequate and if a better alternative doesn’t emerge she may run herself.
I think that’s more than boilerplate and newsworthy.
To: Reddon
Not a good idea. She should run for president instead. Plus, the voters of Alaska fell for that crap Murkowski pulled on us, they cant be counted on for anything. You can run for President as a rookie Senator, just ask obongo. Sarah at least has executive experience, can get through a speech without a teleprompter, and she actually loves America.

She would make a great Senator—she actually knows how to articulate the word “NO”.

She’s had enough time on the sidelines. We really need that Senate seat and she’d be the best candidate. If she choose to not run I don’t think she will be taken seriously in the future. Look at all the other phonies-former governors- who chose not to run for winnable senate seats but ran for the WH instead. There’s Huckabee, Thompson, let me think.

If she chooses to run, great...and if not, shell have her reasons."
Sarah must balance the viciousness that will be launched against her family against what good she believes she can accomplish.
She has my support, however she decides.

I thought she and her family moved to AZ and established residency there after the 2008 election cycle. She's a snowbird - has residency in both states.

Im not sure this is a good idea since Conservatives in the senate have been corrupted by McCain and Schumer. Like Cruz?

I don't know exactly why I'm thinking this, but it seems to me that if she is in the Senate first, somehow she may feel like her family will not be such an MSM target when she runs for POTUS. This might be her path to POTUS.
I hope and pray she will stay above the congressional/D.C. malaise and keep her optimistic outlook. If anyone can, she can. Maybe even get in a little hand-to-hand combat with our nemesis in the WH. Would love to see that. Could be some good experience for her.

This would be great. Tina Fey would then be able to see Sarah Palin up on Capitol Hill from her house at the bottom of the box office receipts list.

Might have been her time, but it wasn’t her family’s time as far as she was concerned, IMO. She put her family’s well being and protection from the vicious and venomous MSM before the country. Those are good priorities. God bless her.

You’re probably right, but we’re all like Charlie Brown with Lucy when it comes to Sarah. All she has to do is put the football on the ground and we come ‘a runnin’.
