George Mason University (GMU) is set to offer a three-credit course on Florida youth Trayvon Martin this fall but in the online description of the course misspelled his name as Trevon Martin."
The class, officially entitled Race & Politics, Trevon [sic] Martin in the course catalogue will be taught by Professor Rutledge Dennis of the Sociology and Anthropology Department.
Martin was shot in February 2012 after an altercation with a neighborhood watch member, George Zimmerman, who is currently the subject of a murder trial.
The trial, being held in Florida, has been racially charged due to questions over Zimmermans motivations. Zimmerman stated late Wednesday he would not provide testimony, with the jury set to issue a decision later this month.
Dennis will teach the GMU course in a lecture/seminar style on Wednesdays in two and half hour blocks from 4:30-7:10 in Krug Hall on GMUs main campus.
Professor Dennis and other GMU representatives did not respond to requests for comment by Campus Reform in time for publication.
This moron will probably base his entire premise on Zimmerman being “white”.
That's retarded, sir.
How do you think I feel? I am a professor at George Mason!
Sometimes you just have to laugh or you will cry. Alas, I feel that urge at least once daily.
Is the professor going to mention that burglaries in the neighborhood stopped after Trayvon was shot?
Or Traydmark.
I’m at Virginia Tech. I feel your pain.
Gonna hurry on over and audit that one ?
(seriesly, condolences ;^)
Probably misspelled on purpose to not conflict with the mom’s taking out copywrites or whatever for trademark’s trademark. otherwise, they’d have to pay royalties to the mom.
Gotta keep those black professors busy teaching BS courses

He is the editor, co-editor, and co-author of nine books in the areas of urban annexations (with John Moeser), research methods in race and ethnicity (with John Stanfield), black intellectuals, W.E.B.Du Bois, the middle class, race and ethnic politics, comparative and theoretical approaches to race and ethnicity (with John Stone), marginality, bi-culturalism, and Booker T. Washington, and social science perspectives on Afro-Americans (with Charles Jarmon).
How much money will the parents get for use of Trayvon’s nam? Maybe that is why they misspelled his name?
He got an upgrayeDD with a double D for a double-dose of big pimpin’...
Punks like Tray are killing people in my old hometown every day. Day after day...robberies, killings and 95% are black.
Here is how students rated the professors classes:

I bet this professor admonished his university for racism when they replaced their old blackboards with the new whiteboards.
