Saudi Arabia is targeting both Israel and Iran with powerful ballistic missiles, new satellite photography shown by military experts to the British Telegraph suggests.
Images analyzed by experts at IHS Janes Intelligence Review has revealed a previously undisclosed surface-to-surface missile base deep in the Saudi desert, with capabilities for hitting both countries, the Telegraph reported on Wednesday.
Analysts who examined the photos spotted two launch pads with markings pointing northwest towards Tel Aviv and northeast towards Tehran, according to the report.
The pads are designed for Saudi Arabias arsenal of lorry-launched DF 3 missiles, which have a range of 1,500-2,500 miles and can carry a two-ton payload.

Just because they have missiles doesn’t mean they’re targeted at anyone in particular. Sure, they probably are, but jumping to that conclusion absent evidence is pathetic.
If Iran and Israel were smart, they’d turn down some of the heat directed toward each other.
“If Iran and Israel were smart, theyd turn down some of the heat directed toward each other.”
If the Iranian people could get the cleric theocrats out of power your suggestion would be more likely, as the Islamic fundamentalist Sunni-Wahabi-Saudis are not going to look any more kindly on a robust, non-Islamist secular democracy in Iran than it does the Shia clerics in Iran.
The Saudi part is unsubstantiated.
Iran is the enemy
Actually, they are. Try reading the article.
To the north of the facility are two circle-shaped launch pads, both with compass-style markings showing the precise direction that the launchers should fire in. . . . "One appears to be aligned on a bearing of approximately 301 degrees and suggesting a potential Israeli target, and the other is oriented along an azimuth (bearing) of approximately 10 degrees, ostensibly situated to target Iranian locations," said the IHS Jane's article quoted by the Telegraph.
The government will
Most Islamic countries have secular or mostly secular governments
I would have a hard time believing Saudi Arabia thinks Israel is a threat to them. Israel doesn’t bluster, and hasn’t to my knowledge taken Saudi Arabia to task in thirty years.
It wasn’t Iranians who flew those airplanes on 9-11.
If you check, they were not really Saudis. They left to join the cast off fanatic, the zealots .
To blame Saudi Arabia is to show you ignorance of the world
The 9-11 terrorists were not Shia nor Iranian, neither were the Tsarnaev brothers.
Hopefully the election of Rowhani will be the first step in the lowering of tensions and a more stable balance in that part of the world. It is not in our interest for Iran to be a perpetual pariah estranged from the interntaional system.
That is irrelevant
You made a bogus claim.
Are you Queer?
You are American
I don’t believe I’ve used the word “Saudi” once in this thread.
Vaguely reminds me of this, from The Man Who Saw Tomorrow:

Do the world a favor & nuke the filthy sowdis.
The entire civilized world would thank Israel.
Its job is PR for the house of fraud.
15 of the 19 were citizens of Saudi Arabia.
