Child abuse will sound good to all the LIVs who have only seen Trayvon as a grinning 12-year-old.

If he’s not guilty of murder then he should be not guilty of manslaughter.

From one source “To establish involuntary manslaughter, the prosecutor must show that the defendant acted with “culpable negligence.” Florida statutes define culpable negligence as a disregard for human life while engaging in wanton or reckless behavior - See more at: http://statelaws.findlaw.com/florida-law/florida-involuntary-manslaughter-laws.html#sthash.SXUUIxaz.dpuf";

I am assuming that the State will have to still prove mens rea.

One question I still see unanswered is that is anyone prepared for rioting IF Z. is convicted?

No conviction=rioting because of supposed racism of the courts and so called white privilege.

A conviction gives a clear path for rioting and the brutal assaults we have seen for the past few years ala the flash mobs at state fairs, and the assault in NJ last week with zero fear of accountability for actions in the assaults.

The race pimps and the Anti-racists(anti-whites)have been pushing for an open confrontation between whites and non whites for some time. With either a conviction or acquittal, I feel they will get what they have been salivating for for decades.

I’m not sure...all I heard was that the judge would not be informing the jury of it...

This entire thing is OBAMA’s Fault

“If I had a son he would look like Trayvon”

That was the marching order given, and the media complied and now look where we are. Impeach!

I would say manslaughter would be difficult since FL law is so strong with stand your ground. This goes beyond stand your ground to total self defense.

Two of the jurors are CCW so I’m not seing those two buying anything other than self defense.

I was on a jury a few years ago and if these folks are anything like the ones I served with they are going to go with not guilty. Most people are smarter than you would think.

Mantaio is a class A Jerk that probably got his ass kicked daily in school.

He definitely has small #$#% syndrome.

I think the second to last witness reinforces that.
A women with a child hiding in the kids bedroom from two black thugs that broke in and was stealing stuff.

That had to hit every jurist right in the gut...

Agreed. You’ve spent all your time disproving a specific charge, it’s nothing more than moving the goalposts at the last minute.

The racial aspects of this were agitated from the White House down, direct involvement. We have a case that should never have gone to trial on the grounds of murder. Now we see a judge that hijacks the ability of the defense to disprove other charges.

If this man goes to jail...what are we going to do about it? We should ALL worry about the same thing happening to any one of us. Our government is targeting people because of who they are, not what they’ve done. It is a sad day.

Manslaughter in Florid of a victim under 18? Doesn’t that mean a mandatory 30 year sentence?

This country is finished. It is still America, but not as it was founded, the Fed Gov is massively corrupt and have more power than the founders ever envisioned.

If the GOP won't do anything other than cower, we need to form a new political party... Palin's 'Freedom Party' is a start.

If this trial wasn’t all over the media I imagine she would have just ordered the jury to return a guilty verdict.

If this whole matter wasn't all over the media to begin with, there would have been no trial at all. The police weren't going to even charge Z, and the Chief got fired for refusing to arrest him.

This judge does need to be taken down a peg - she's more than a little fast and loose with the law.
