A routine traffic stop early Thursday morning led to a bailout of suspected illegal immigrants in Nueces County.
According to the Nueces County Sheriff's Department, about 20 suspected illegal immigrants fled from a vehicle between Robstown and Driscoll around 6:30 a.m., after a Sheriff's deputy tried to pull their vehicle over for a traffic violation at County Road 28 and Highway 77.

The Sheriff's Department were unable to locate any of the suspected immigrants.
Authorities returned to the scene at around 1:15 p.m. and spotted five of the suspected immigrants near Driscoll, at Highway 77 and FM 665. Three were taken into custody, and two got away.

Aw, heck. I imagine they were just driving around in search of the path to amnesty. Somebody should have told them that’s in Washington, D.C.
I just love my hometown. I am from Corpus Christi.
I should also have mentioned that this is in Texas and that most of the “suspected immigrants” were in the bed of a pickup truck, but I kinda liked the clown car.
They were probably just on their way back to Mexico.
GROUP POOP?
I lived there in the 80’s.
How many times a week now do you get stories on the news of a Jesus self portrait in mold on a stove, refrigerator, screen door, sheet rock or whatever else can get mold on it?
Someone needs to correct the headline, it’s politically incorrect, it should read UNDOCUMENTED Immigrants. /sarc
Dumb joke of the day:
Why were there only ten thousand Mexicans at the Alamo?
They only had one pick up truck.
Border Patrol has not offered any comment about the incident-probably because they are hiding them.
