SANFORD, Fla. - Trayvon Martin spent four long minutes preparing to attack George Zimmerman, time when he lay in wait before throwing the first punch in a confrontation that ended in his death, Zimmerman's defence lawyer said in closing arguments on Friday.
Lead defence lawyer Mark O'Mara attempted to shift the blame to Martin, the unarmed, black 17-year-old whom Zimmerman shot dead last year. O'Mara told the jury there was "factual and undeniable evidence" that Zimmerman should be found not guilty. ... To convict Zimmerman of second-degree murder, a charge that could lead to a sentence of life in prison, the jury must find he acted with ill will, spite or hatred.
The hateful person that rainy night was Martin, not Zimmerman, O'Mara told the jury.
"Somebody decided they were angry. Ticked off. Ill will, spite or hatred," O'Mara said. "It wasn't some cop wannabe.
"The person who decided this was going to continue, was going to become a violent event, was the guy who didn't go home when he had a chance to. It was the guy who decided to lie in wait," O'Mara said.

Per the autopsy you are correct.
Trayvon nevr went home and his father was a gangsta himself when younger. He had his tats redone to conceal that after Trayvon’s death and the money quest started. He wouldn; have kicked him ou of he house, he would have high-fived him.
Trayvon was found with stolen jewelry at school. That was proven recently. The question is, was that the first score? The telephone files which the court wouldn’t allow to be introduced into evidence also deailed a conversation between father and son about getting a gun.
Like father, like son?
Well, the other guy who was caught doing a B+E in that gated community had been arrested AGAIN, so him and his 'unknown' partner aren't contributing to the home invasions.
One wonders, was Trayvon that guys 'partner' ?
The woman reported having her laptop stolen (which was found at the first partner's house), and some jewelry, which was has not been found. Could that have been the jewelry in Trayvon's backpack that the Principal and Police found in his locker at school ?
Then I'd hate to see what your idea of "fun" is.
To dismiss Zimmerman's injuries so flippantly strongly indicates you have an agenda other than justice in mind. Zimmerman's head was bleeding from being slammed on hard ground or concrete. He had a busted up nose. A witness saw Trayvon on top of Zimmerman repeatedly punching him.
Clearly an act of self defense.
If you want to deny what really happened here, you are willfully blind. I wonder what is coloring your judgment?
You and your agenda can "step off." If you think convicting GZ of anything would represent justice, you have no common sense. I wouldn't want to live in an America where I can't defend yourself, with deadly force, against a common thug who has initiated a violent assault.
Where and when?
Any idea if the slim jim was ever checked for fingerprints?
I would bet that if Crayon had known Zimmerman was packing he would have skittled on home to Dad’s condo.

ARe you kidding? TM wanted to kick GZ’s ass - that’s why he went back.
If you get hurt worse than this for fun, I'd hate to see what you get hurt for thats not fun.
Don't bring Skittles to a gunfight.
Don’t remember where that group of home owners lived. The time was shortly after Hurricane Katrina. I posted it several times back then.
St. Trayvon's homophobia was the reason. He didn't like being watched by Zimmerman who he assumed to be a "creep ass-cracker."
His gf Jabba teasing him about being raped, was the push he needed to seek out Zimmerman and give him a beat down for dissing his manhood.
Then I'd hate to see what your idea of "fun" is.
Exactly. Poor man looked like he'd just gone 10 rounds with a revolving door.
Whatever. Here’s what a “ass whooping” looks like: http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/news/queensland/union-hits-back-over-drunk-cop-stitch-up/2008/03/27/1206207292849.html
The state has the burden of proof; bound and limited by facts.
The defendant is innocent until proven guilty and allowed to go for reasonable doubt....including making inferences and drawing alternate conclusions.
Hannity has on an “expert” panel, and a few women on that panel are making the case that the 19th Amendment is a mistake. Ann Coulter would approve.
Ann Coulter would approve [ to repeal the 19th Amendment].
