The National Guard to the Rescue in Chicago

“Every single day we wake up in the city of Chicago, some child, some young adult, some African-American male has been murdered,” state Rep. Monique Davis said Thursday. “This is not acceptable.

“I’m hearing from mothers that they are afraid to go outside,” she said. “Hospitals are overburdened with 70 gunshot wounds in one day. Ambulances are so busy people are driving victims in their own cars.”

Davis held a press conference this week to ask Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn to call in National Guard “to protect our children so they can go to the park and swim and play and have a childhood.” She said the governor has not responded."

What advice could he have possibly given them?

National Guardsmen have jobs. Who will support their families while they are guarding these murderous felons?

Some things are actually turning around in Detroit one neighborhood at a time. Big players moving in along with some big stores which are bringing jobs and money.

The grandson of one of my neighbors transferred to Detroit from NY a while back and says he loves it. All of his neighbors are high 5 to mid 6 figure coworkers from Quicken loans or JP Morgan. They got big bonuses for living in the city and the value of their dollar goes a lot further than it did in NY. He bought a decent home from a private owner and a lot on either side from the city for under $65 grand and all his neighbors are doing the same.

The guy says its actually got a small town feel with white picket fences and all. They pay for extra private security and the companies are paying for upgrades to power and sewer systems. He says that there are a few elderly blacks still in the neighborhood and couldn’t be happier to see what’s happening.

Why do they want the NG? All they’ll do is cry and riot when an NG kills some dirtbag who deserved it.

The reason why the cops can’t protect you is because you hate the cops and hamstring them at every turn. Stop complaining about getting exactly what you demand.

Maybe they’re doing this because they expect trouble after the Martin verdict.

Maybe you should talk to YOUR peeps about bringing morality back to YOUR African-American “culture”. The rest of us are sick of it and you.

The really sad thing is, the woman gets it, she just can't put the two plus two together to calculate which kids are causing this.

This doesn't get better until their community leaders stand up to them, and address this head on.

Tell the jerks this S better stop or else, I don't care if you're my color or not.

Who is it that is destroying these kid's future?  Their parents and public officials are.

Time for some tough love in the crib.

Since I actually want to fix things & address issues… does that mean I'm not Conservative?

Ex:

Fiscal Responsibility Amendment
Section I
The power of Congress to regulate the value of the dollar is hereby repealed.

Section II
The value of the Dollar shall be one fifteen-hundredth avoirdupois ounce of gold with impurities not exceeding one part per thousand.

Section III
To guard against Congress using its authority over weights and measures to bypass Section I, the weight in Section II is approximately 28.3495 grams (SI).

Section IV
The Secretary of the Treasury shall annually report the gold physically in its possession; this report shall be publicly available.

Section V
The power of the Congress to assume debt is hereby restricted: the congress shall assume no debt which shall cause the total obligations of the United States to exceed one hundred ten percent of the amount reported by the Secretary of the Treasury.

Section VI
Any government agent, officer, judge, justice, employee, representative, or congressman causing gold to be confiscated from a private citizen shall be tried for theft and upon convection shall:
  1. be removed from office (and fired, if an employee),
  2. forfeit all pension and retirement benefits,
  3. pay all legal costs, and
  4. restore to the bereaved twice the amount in controversy

Chicago with 3 M pop and Egypt with 85 M, you can see that Chicago would just rate one F-16!Also I’m only 10 miles west of O’Hare and do not need the noise.
Rostenkowski was able to snag an old Huey.
How about an AC-130 gunship, homeland security could help with ammo.
Or.
Perhaps a few UH-1 gunships they could park them at Meigs Field.

The military exists to fight the enemy.
The police exist to protect the people

When the military becomes to police, the people become the enemy

I believe this is the same moron who referred to the mayor of Chicago as Ron Emanuel.

Hey, Monique! Guess who is predominantly responsible for all those African-American males being murdered. Oh, yeah, other African-American males.

Concealed carry has not been enacted in Chicago yet despite a recent court order and passage of a highly restrictive concealed carry law.

I'd argue what the State Legislature passed and over-rode Governor Quinn with isn't even a conceal/carry law. NOWHERE in the legislation that was passed is ANY Illinois Citizen able to carry a concealed loaded-weapon outside their home.

What passed is a "fanny pack" law. You can carry a handgun in a fanny pack, but it must be unloaded. You can carry ammunition on your person to "load the gun" when needed, but carrying a loaded weapon? Uh uh.

So here's what's gonna happen: "Wait Mr. Robber/Rapist/Burgler/Muderer! I have to load my handgun first to defend myself, because I'm a law-abiding citizen."

To which Robber/Rapist/Burbler/Murderer has their way with you as you fumble to load your weapon.

I cannot WAIT for this POS that the State Legislature to get appealed and over-turned by the Federal Appeals Court. Maybe then we'll have Constitutional Carry.

NO, see post #77. Illinois does NOT have CCW, even though people are talking and acting like we do. Anyone who READS the bill see's what an abomination it is.

It was purposefully done to try and hoodwink the Federal Appeals Court. It needs to be appealed, struck down, and Illinois declared a Constitutional Carry state.

Look at the reactions to Snowden leaking the NSA's domestic snooping programs and you'll see that the people are the enemy already.
