I have never met anyone who owns an electric car that doesn’t love it. My Leaf is fun to drive. It is the most comfortable riding and quiet small car ever. I hope this is the future in automobiles. I also have a 2013 Ford Escape. It is also a nice vehicle. I just wish it was electric powered (with at least a 300 mile range). I don’t care how green or red the vehicle is. The technology has a future. The ICE has evolved all it is going to.

That is an incredibly idiotic statement.
The ICE has barely scratched the surface of its future. Horsepower to displacement ratios hav more than tripled in the last decade, and fuel economy is rising rapidly, and would rise even more rapidly if the feckless environmental ‘fixes’ were sent to the hole they belong in.
A plug-in electric car is a death trap waiting to be triggered in the next emergency.
Electric cars would have zero future without destructive government subsidies.
