Let it be noted that on this day, Saturday 13 July 2013, it was still deemed legal in the US to chase and then shoot dead an unarmed young black man on his way home from the store because you didn't like the look of him.

It’s so obvious that if we had the society these liberal racists claim we do, everyday life would be totally different.

Gary Younge is telling vile lies. Martin did not resist anything. Martin assaulted Zimmerman. In fact it is Zimmerman who resisted.
Younge is either deluded or a liar.
Let it be noted that on this day, Saturday 13 July 2013, it was deemed reasonable by some @ssh@t from the Guardian to eschew self-defense by allowing an assailant beat you into unconsciousness and even death by slamming your head repeatedly against the pavement, as long as said assailant was black and you weren’t.
I haven’t heard anyone mention that the neighborhood where Martin was shot had 8 burglaries in 14 months before the shooting, and none in the 17 months since the shooting. As in NO burglaries

I heard a reporter last night describe Martin as a “young child...” when questioning a member of one of the legal teams.

I wonder what the Guardian’s opinion was of the daylight public slaughter of the British soldier by muslim thugs.
