New movement ignites impeach-Obama message
WND ^ | July 14, 2013 | Bob Unruh

There’s a new grass-roots movement developing across the country that likely isn’t going to mean good news for President Obama.

The folks at Overpasses For Obama’s Impeachment are staging protests on those freeway overpasses across the country, calling for impeachment.

WND has reported that Watergate investigator Bob Woodward of the Washington Post compares Barack Obama to Richard Nixon. Members of Congress say it’s about time to consider impeachment. Rock legend Ted Nugent says Obama’s constitutional violations make him eligible to be impeached. And even Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin has called for Obama’s removal.

There’s also a national petition that calls on Congress to immediately investigate the “unconstitutional and impeachable offenses” of Obama.

The latest American group that is seeking formal congressional action against Obama says on its website that its goal is simple: “The removal of the corrupt and criminal president of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama.”

“His actions go unimpeded, our pleas through petitions unanswered. Our calls and letters to Congress are left ignored and unopened,” the group’s online post explains. “Our only peaceful recourse is to take to the streets and overpasses of America and DEMAND that our nation be returned to We the People, and that Barack Hussein Obama be impeached, removed from office, and held accountable for his actions while serving as president.”

Continued officials, “America is in its greatest time of peril in since the Founding Fathers bravely fought in the Revolutionary War. Lady Liberty is calling YOU to stand up, to speak out, to take to the streets and DEMAND that the corrupt tyrant be removed from the White House, and all of those who colluded with him in his crimes against the United States be held accountable to the full extent of the law, with the maximum sentences handed

The WND article is about the activism of FR's very own "Outland." Here's his article from 7/10/13: Video of Wednesday's Impeach Obama overpass protest in the Chicago burbs.

It may not have gotten attention from the MSM, but we at FR, WND & thousands of commuters and YouTube viewers have seen it and are still seeing it.

Obama's not worried. It won't take the IRS long to defuse this little distraction for him.

If patriots want to impeach Obama, and why not activist justices while they’re at it, then they had better get their acts together and do the following.

Patriots, and disgruntled citizens who regret voting for Obama, need to get out and vote and win 2/3 conservative supermajorities in both Houses of Congress in the 2014 elections. If conservative supermajorities control Congress then not only will Congress have the constitutional authority under Clause 2 of Section 7 of Article I to repeal constitutionally indefensible Obamacare without Obama’s signature, but Congress will also be able to impeach Obama and activist justices.

“If for no other reason than his unbearable arrogance, the schmuck should have to pay a penalty.” Oh how I would LOVE to see his smug, nose-in-the-air look as he’s being escorted OUT of the White House.

March to the Senate and House of Representatives and give those inside a wake-up call. Don’t even bother with the White House.

My nom-de-plume as a blues song writer is Smoky Cottonmouth Nixon. I have a very low opinion of Nixon. However, compared to Obamugabe, Nixon is a saint.

That might be a little hard to do. Since senators hold office for six years, only 1/3 of them are up for election in 2014.

Thanks for the compliment. One of the guys on the Illinois chapter of Overpasses For Obama’s Impeachment (Facebook page) organized that protest... I only took video of it and edited it. I also recorded the WBBM soundtrack which I merged into the video.

There will be multiple overpass protests in the Chicago area on the 19th. I will be taking video of one of them. I encourage any fellow Freepers to join in. It may not accomplish much in the way of impeaching Obama, but it does make some voices heard and at least we get to exercise some rights that the left thought were only reserved to them. I’m happy to see some conservatives finally take an “in your face” approach.

I had a look at Overpasses For Obama’s Impeachment web sites. My impression is that low-information conservatives are behind the movement, citizens who don’t know the Constituton and consequenty do not understand how voters need to support the constitutional impeachment process.

After all, organized, Constitution-savvy conservative voters could have tried to elect conservative supermajorities to both houses of Congress in 2012 to at least make Obama a lame duck president for his last four years. But I see no evidence of that having happened.

In fact, I sometimes wonder if “conservative” movement groups like the Overpasses group are actually backed by Obama to give conservatives the impression that the posse is going after Obama to keep lazy conservatives on their couches on election day.
