They didn’t have a case. Only innuendo.

Should never have gone to trial.

Just my opinion.

Just my opinion.

Your opinion matches the facts.

The “Knock, knock” joke was actually very effective, and it worked on many levels. Its main purpose was to erase the effect of the prosecution’s opening statement. It worked.

After the joke, the jurors were like blank pages, as if the prosecution’s emotional opening statement had never happened, and they were ready to take notes on what Don West had to say. And they took notes.

Also, the joke conveyed the idea that the jurors had a lot more to learn about the case, because they really had not heard the abundant evidence that supported the Zimmerman defense.

Amen. This lynching of Zimmerman was to be much much more. It was to be the landmark that was to make any defense against assault by blacks on anyone illegal. It would give cart blanc to blacks to assault, rob, rape, and kill with impunity, and if you fought back, it becomes a "racist hate crime, pursued and punished by the full force of the US Department of Injustice".

There have been some dirty heads of the DOJ, but none hold a candle to Eric Holder. His destruction of the office is now complete. DOJ means the exact opposite. Cronyism, railroading, racism, and injustice...
