If Zimmerman had been black, there would have been no trial; the cops could see it was self-defense from start.
Overall the police don’t discriminate terribly. They will beat or shoot anyone to death. “I felt threatened.” is a powerful police tool.

Similar case here in Iowa a while back.
they didn’t beat him to death, but they took him in and it cost him a lot. But we don’t have the Castle Doctrine here in Iowa. So not quite the same. But this guy got a raw deal.
Rangel is an idiot. To listen to him you wouldn’t know that over half (much more if you only consider large cities) of all murders are committed by blacks.

They were disappointed with the lack of widespread rioting after the verdict. Every day since it appears they’ve been trying to ramp up the rhetoric. They will continue this until they get what they want.

IIRC, Mr. Obama is about 6% black and is proclaimed “the first black president” (which he isn’t, of course). Yet here comes Mr. Zimmerman, 25% black but called “white Hispanic” whatever the hell that is.
If Zimmerman had been black and Martin white, there wouldn’t even have been a second investigation.
