Here's the difference then. The crooks lie to evade the consequences of their lawbreaking. I bluff to deny them that opportunity, and by doing so, I have not broken any law. And by what theory of law are you postulating that people should be immune if they lie during an interrogation? If they are obstructing justice, why should any officer give them a pass? They lie at their own risk. Sometimes nothing happens, and sometimes they get additional charges. Tough luck for them!
Well that guy you talked to directly contradicted the Bible. So I seriously doubt it was Jesus you were talking to.
No he was quite clear. He values children very deeply, and he didn’t intend for them to be raped and murdered because some cop didn’t want to try to bluff to save them. He said that if I was ever in a situation to lie and bluff to save a child from a murderer/rapist to go for it. He suggests you read the bible to understand the greater principle of love over callous ignorance.
