As I've said in most of these threads:

1. Dis-incorporate Detroit.
2. Sell off the city's assets to satisfy its bondholders and other creditors.
3. Incorporate new and more viable communities within Wayne County from the former Detroit.

It's that easy.

I would have to agree 100%. Keep the areas with Ford Field, Comerica Park and Joe Louis Arena as Detriot and all the surrounding suburban residential areas become their own towns/cities.

Can you expound on what you mean with this? Does “incorporate” mean absorb surrounding suburbs? If so, then I am not sure that is viable. The cities that would be supportive of that are all BK (just not filed yet) too. The cities that are not broke would get major push back from their residents....
