I don’t think there’s any political clout to gain, by bailing Detroit out. It’s a dedicated Democratic city....it’s better to use resources on cities on the edge between the Democrats and Republicans.
money is no object - these are the days of milk and honey for the fedgov. Just print up a few trillion bucks to INVEST in failed third world cities and watch Dem turnout surpass 110% in 2014/6
. Zero does not care about political clout. He is an ideologue first and a pol second. IMO he will without a doubt try to bail out Detroit simply because it increases the power of the Federal state.

Not if you look at the big picture:
1) It pleases the gibsmedats when the Obamessiah dips into our wallets.
2) The most important point: It hastens the financial collapse that Soros is steering us toward.
3/4 of "The Tribe" is only on board the Democrat train because they've been promised something. Let Detroit fail and many loyal thugs lose their promised stipends for past loyalty. He sets a bad precedent.
He'll do it - even if he has to sell three aircraft carriers to China to raise the money.
