I loved the comments to this story at the link. For this to be on a WaPo site, I was pleasantly surprised.
The silent majority that you so scathingly blame with self satisfaction are overwhelmingly voting in the one place they think their votes still count.
The gun store.
In a joint letter, James P. Hoffa of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Joseph Hansen of the UFCW and D. Taylor of UNITE-HERE state that Obamacare will "destroy the 40 hour work week that is the backbone of the American middle class" and "destroy the very health and wellbeing of our members along with millions of other hardworking Americans."IOW, what they want is legislation prohibiting part-time labor, and that Obamacare doesn't go far enough.
When ObamaCare collapses, the only ones who will still be supporting it will be Obama and the RINOs in Congress.
Yeah....and I have a friend who worked as a senior admin in a medical records company....laid off a while back....and can’t get a job ...even as an “Obamacare Navigator”...also voted for Obama twice.
Oh good!
Make sure you remind him frequently that ObamaCare is Bush's fault.
Apparently, what was hiding in 2,000 pages of the law is more than 20,000 pages of regulations.
Suffer...Fellow Americans. The LIBs have screwed us all, so suffer. Don’t keep quiet. Tell the LIBs and their brain-dead supporters what they have done. Ridicule them, laugh at them, get in their face (to follow nobama’s prompt) and shun them in your community. Stop being quiet. The LIBs are subhuman insects who destroy everything they touch. nobamacare is working as intended. When we are forced into “single payer” it will be exceptionally bad. These commie thugs require a dose of justice. Never let them forget.
This "doctor" gave his advice as well.
5. The politicians themselves are exempt from the rationed, cut-rate health care they imposed on the peasantry.
I’m one of the innocents and I can’t get a new job either. But my point was not that my friend is in a predicament; the point is that the wheels of Obamacare are grinding to a halt and the implementation is not going forward in some crucial ways.
I said this from the inception of this monstrosity. Early on, the ACA had a provision which required the IRS filing of purchases over $600, IIRC. Both parties agreed to repeal this item. IMO, this was a colossal mistake by the Republicans. The LIV would have felt the intrusion and pain of such a stupid law. It would have given the Repubs a platform to excoriate the entire law.
The stupid party will let the "bad" parts of Obamacare get repealed, while still retaining the "good" parts. Can you say partially pregnant? The Dems in the years to come will add on to the "revised" law to get us back to where we are and then some.
self satisfaction?
