Detroit City Council member JoAnn Watson on Tuesday introduced a resolution supporting the U.S. Justice Department's investigation into the Florida slaying of Trayvon Martin. Federal investigators are looking into whether or not George Zimmerman violated the teen's civil rights when he followed him in his gated neighborhood out of suspicion, leading to an altercation and the fatal shooting.

She’s cracking me up. She’s done such a great job that Detroit is now filing bankruptcy. And what the heck is all of this “it takes a village” garbage from the left? Either Trayvon was a child or he wasn’t.
They have no money to spend there anyway.
(1) Now that the city is bankrupt, they are completely and utterly powerless. They do even more nothing than they were previously doing.
(2) City councilmen do not represent specific districts of the city, they are elected at large. They have no specific constituency to serve.

Detroit’s ‘profiled’ as a loser because of all the cities in the United States, they’re the biggest losers. Crooks have stripped the houses bare in Detroit - no copper, no appliances, nothing of value left. Some houses sell for a dollar in Detroit - and no one wants ‘em. Even their ‘black panthers’ want to burn the place down...
But yeah, we’ll all treat Detroit like it’s Martha’s Vineyard... I’m sure the Obama’s will be vacationing in Detroit soon. Count on it.
