The Washington Times ^ | July 24, 2013 | Seth McLaughlin

Delaware state officials have told Congress that they likely destroyed the computer records that would show when and how often they accessed Christine O'Donnell’s personal tax records and acknowledged that a newspaper article was used as the sole justification for snooping into the former GOP Senate candidate’s tax history.

I can’t wait until the IRS has our medical records too.

Every Delaware state official who might have had access to Christine ODonnell’s tax records should be fined $10000 immediately - it would put a stop to that activity right away!

Oh I am sure DOJ will find that the lose of the records was also inadvertent.

“destroyed the computer records”

If they insist on lying why can’t they at least try to make it believable?

Jailed.

I hope this isn’t just dropped.

For one thing, it’s unlikely that they have “erased” the records as thoroughly as they think, and a genuine investigation could probably find them or find enough to make life uncomfortable for the officials.

Add destroying evidence to the charges.

Just go to NSA database and ask them to pull up their copy.

Democrats are above the law. They can do anything necessary to destroy their opponents and no one is ever prosecuted or jailed. That’s because Republicans are weak and stupid.

Maybe Karl Rove would be able to shed some light on this situation...

“Well, isn’t that convenient...”

Time for the FBI to descend and do a massive computer forensic sweep of those facilities. The IRS doesn’t back up its computer data? Riiiight.

Of course that won’t happen due to the pervasive corruption throughout our present government.

I’d like to see something like 95% of present incumbents lose in 2014.

Subpoena David Smith to begin with for a deposition by Congressional investigators. Squeeze him and se if he will implicate others.

Freedom, as a concept in the US, now only means ‘the right to be left alone as long as one flies beneath the radar and presents no problems to the ruling oligarchy’.

Why did this happen? In part because a large segment of our population no longer cares about right and wrong, or the concept of liberty for all. They only care about putting into office those who will give them ‘stuff’ and punish those they feel need punishing.

The Clintons could have had regular orgies at the White House and a significant portion of their voting block would have cared less, as long as those Republicans and conservatives weren't in office.

You can't sustain a nation when a large swath of the population has no stake in the principles upon which the nation was founded.

Nothing will come of this because the Republican elites didn’t like her any better than the Democrats did.

This is what happens when we have these integrated state/federal and who knows what else data bases. So, let me get this straight, some clown in Delaware who works at their tax office was reading the paper and decided because there was an article about O donnell in the paper they needed to view her on line federal tax records? Toward what end I think one should ask. Sounds like a rerun of Joe the Plumber to me.
