RE:”However, who else in the GOP has the balls to fight hard against making illegals citizens/voters? “

This illustrates my point about lose-lose. As you pointed out in last comment, what if it has opposite effect as he seems to want?

If Republicans could convince a huge % of public that there is a alternate conservative philosophy that was good for both them and this country in the long run, better for them and their kids then the freebees that Dems offer, then they could sell a process that selectively gives citizenship to those on our side while being seen as compassionate too.

But its clear that they cant.

Its lose lose even if the GOP does good in a few midterms. Whites are not reproducing fast enough and too many whites are libs anyway.

RE :”My congressman keeps complaining about obamacare, IRS, Benghazi, etc. but posted a picture of himself and a pro-amnesty lobbyist on his facebook page today. After I made my “WTF?!?” call to his office, I printed out the page and gave copies to my neighbors. Also emailed the image to my insurance agent, also a constituent.”

Ask your GOP house member exactly what is his #1 objective and exactly what is his no-way threshold.

In this I like Rubio’s example because he made it black and white for us to destroy his arguments.
Specifically : How can Rub be really against Obama when he is willing to kill himself to put such a HUGE legacy win on his (Obama’s ) desk? Even to further his own ambitions

Now if the GOP argues that every kid brought here regardless of age is a criminal for not running away from their home and stowing away on a boat to a country they don't even remember, even if they speak perfect English and had all 'As' when graduating from HS and are are doing good in college, then it is a pointless suicide mission. I have no reasonable sounding arguments for that.

Then Let's just resolve ourselves to cult status.

No, the GOP argument should be to enforce the border and immigration laws on the books, those here illegally and want to stay need to become legal through the process that is already established by existing law.

RE:”No, the GOP argument should be to enforce the border and immigration laws on the books, those here illegally and want to stay need to become legal through the process that is already established by existing law.”

Look, this fantasy is really easy to say as an anomalous internet blogger or as a GOP house member in a small district with 95% whites,
but back on the planet earth that will result in the Nov POTUS debate question :
So you mean in enforcing the laws is showing up at their HS graduation and deporting them after they grew up here since 5 yrso and they graduated at top of class now in college and know nothing about the country they were born in?”

Then response we will see will be :’Well, ohhh, oh what was the question again? ah lets change the subject to well maybe I was wrong....”

Its pretty obvious those we select against amnesty better come up with much better than this. Better come to grips that Romney beat the crap out of the others by being the MOST anti-amnesty in the primary, and now where are we??

Except Romney was probably lying about that stand and I think a lot of people knew it.

The idea that a legal immigrant can be thrown out of the country at the slightest unsigned paperwork but the lawbreakers can expect massive piles of government benefits and free passes to break the law is insanity.

Can expect?
Unrelated to specific GOP-Dem amnesty deals :

Is there any reason to demand that GOP candidates demand that all of those A students who were brought here as kids and now know home but here in USA (we effectively demand that they) be put out on a raft in the middle of the ocean? As they have no other home to be sent to?

I am not at all saying they are conservatives or that I like them personally or to give them anything specific but demanding the above idiocy is a gun against own heads with disastrous results.

Its not defensivable.

You are referring to children born and holding citizenship in another country? Of course they can go with their parents back to THEIR country.

Romney was no doubt lying as we both could see at the time and the next candidate will be too as was all the others.

But this is still really bad news.

RE :”You are referring to children born and holding citizenship in another country? Of course they can go with their parents back to THEIR country.”

This is the losing argument .

Supposing you arrest one who was brought here at 4 yrso and is now 26 here with a USA HS and college degrees and is seen here by as a model American by EVERYONE he knows??

You going to waterboard him to figure out what country to drop him off on their beach?? This will NEVER, NEVER is going to happen.

This is the specific idiotic position that we are demanded to take on one side by some.

On the other side amnesty side is to give them the vote and taxpayers $$$.

Yes, seriously,
Assuming you are your OWN ideal POTUS candidate yourself then how will you respond when asked in Debate w Dem exactly where you will dump him/her after you suggest that we should arrest him and drop him/her in their ‘home’ country ?

After they (the ones we are talking about) grew up here exactly as we did?
This is a losing argument. 100% losing.

The GOP must do better than this.

Not saying to support anything specifically that the GOP is proposing but this is a complete loser.

No, my idea was to deny foreigners not here illegally benefits like welfare, free schooling, free medical care etc etc.

My exact position too and I hate Romney for lying about the Senate bill on this.

” Expect 2016 to be an ugly year.

Its a lose lose game for GOP and I see nothing good here.”

The GOP has imploded. How many Republicans in the House & Senate can you honestly name that haven’t folded, or won’t fold on amnesty?

Tens of millions have been spent buying these whores, and it appears to be an unlimited supply of cash.

Run the numbers. Most kids of illegal immigrants don’t even finish high school. They aren’t at Wharton, or Harvard Business School.

If one in 10,000, or one in 50,000 had straight A’s, it would be a miracle.

Well, a large number do not finish high school. You may be right about "most," I'm not sure.

If one in 10,000, or one in 50,000 had straight A’s, it would be a miracle.

I am just as angry about what is going on as you, but isn't that an exaggeration? I don't think 99% of Dreamers are drug runners. I think Dems are counting on GOP members to make similar statements, so that cowardly GOP congresscritters will be so embarrassed they will vote for whatever the Dems want.

Here is what I think. Most illegal aliens are not murderers-rapists (although they are breaking the immigration laws and should not pretend to be innocent of that), but if they voted, most would vote for really evil people. That is one reason why I oppose "immigration reform."

Another question is, would DHS, being de facto extension of the DNC, do diligent qualification/background checks, or even want to?

I don’t think so.

That is why we all oppose it.

” would DHS, being de facto extension of the DNC, do diligent qualification/background checks, or even want to? “

They won’t do ANY background checks.
