Prosecutors said Perez, who doesn't speak English and is represented by a public defender, beat and sexually assaulted a 93-year-old woman in her home Sunday.

If he makes bail they’ll never see him again. A drunk illegal ran over a little girl here several months ago and put her in the ICU. He skedaddled back to Mexico and by now is probably drinking in some other American small town.

Didn’t some judge in another criminal illegal case rule that the defendant was incompetent to stand trial because he didn’t speak English?
