In an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) said he believes the legalization of same-sex “marriage” may lead to those who express religious objections to homosexuality being prosecuted for hate speech.

Hate Speech laws of the sort they have in Europe are probably inevitable here as well. And if we don’t already have a Sup Court that would sanction them, we probably will soon enough.

You got that right!

There is only one place (not human) where we can put our faith, and if history is evidence, we should expect persecution for that.

How many of us sinners are really ready? Will we, like Peter, deny Him thrice? I hope not to be put to that test, but if I am, pray that I will pass.

Given the rate of our descent, how much longer can it be?

Let’s see what kind of teeth this legislation has first. As written, it should forever bar any muslim from ever seeking office there, which would be a good thing. If an exception is ever made for any non-Christian (and most major religions do reject homosexuality), then there will be no room for denial that the legislation is intended to make Christianity illegal on “hate speech” grounds.
