US officials are claiming that an internal Pakistani assessment of civilian deaths from US drone strikes - obtained and published in full by the Bureau - is 'far from authoratative.'

The secret document was obtained by the Bureau from three independent sources...

I saw some info on this a few days ago. It seems that 1.) stats were put out in the past, and 2.) following that this leaked story undermined it. 3.) US officials are claiming that the Pakistani assessment is far from authoritative. To add to the mix apparently some Pakistani officials are disavowing the leaked report. I posted this, as it is less than an hour since it hit the net, and secondly since the liberal Cornell professor Cornell West called Obama the "drone President."

They could take out every islamist in the country as far as I'm concerned. My concern with soetoro is that he's waging his own war, for his own purposes, against islamists that he doesn't like.

I don’t know if Obama’s ever met an Islamist he doesn’t like. There are MUSLIMS he doesn’t like, though - the ones who aren’t Islamists. Those are the ones he’s trying to help Al Qaeda affiliates in Syria butcher... just like he did in Libya and gave the wink to in Egypt.

As well, it seems as if some Pakistani gov’t officials perhaps were taken behind the woodshed and are now retreating. It is hard to say one way or the other.
