Another juror from the George Zimmerman trial will be stepping out on national television in interviews with ABC's Robin Roberts.
Juror B-29, the only minority juror from the controversial trial, is identified only as "Maddy."
She told court officials during the jury selection process she is a nurse on an Alzheimer's ward. She is married and has several children.
She lived in Chicago at the time Zimmerman shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
"Maddy" told court officials she doesn't watch the news and prefers realty television.
"Right when we got here, I got cable ... I love my reality shows," she told lawyers during jury selection.
Roberts conducted the interview with "Maddy" on Thursday morning after "Good Morning America."
The first portions of the interview will air on "World News With Diane Sawyer" at 6:30 p.m. Thursday on WFTV-Channel 9.
More of the exclusive interview will be seen Thursday night on "Nightline." The full interview will air Friday on "Good Morning America," which starts at 7 a.m.
Maddy is represented by Celebration attorney David Chico. Attempts to reach him Thursday were not immediately successful.
The first juror to talk to the press was B-37, who was photographed in shadows when she spoke to CNN's Anderson Cooper.

Prosecutors are not plaintiff lawyers.
Ordinarily prosecutors are defending society against drug addicts and gangbangers. In this they have more in common with attorneys who defend you against greedy plaintiffs looking for an easy payday.
Plaintiff lawyers generally have more in common with the attorneys who try to keep drug addicts and gangbangers out of jail — and on your doorstep.
I wonder if that might have been the reason that wreckman cancelled his press conference yesterday.
It probably had nothing to do with "wanting privacy" but everything to do with shopping around his story to the right news outlet that will pay for it rather than giving it away for free.

I don’t know how tightly controlled Celebration is anymore, but yes, that was Disney’s planned community. And ABC is indeed owned by Disney.
As for tight control, the Reedy Creek Development District takes the cake. That’s the incorporated government that covers all of Walt Disney World in Florida. IIRC, the entire “town” has something like 5 residents, all of whom are carefully selected by Disney and who vote the “right way” for the governing body that has to approve all of Disney’s development projects within the area.
Trivia: you can’t book a single reservation at a Disney resort in Florida for longer than 14 days (you have to make multiple reservations if you want to stay longer), supposedly so that you can’t claim the resort as your residence and therefore become a RCDC resident eligible to vote.

I think they’re a prosecutor used exclusively in the NFL. you know, any excitement resulting from a spectacular touchdown play will result in loss of yardage and such.

I’m going to hazard a guess that she’s the one who originally wanted 2nd degree murder. If so, I would be interested to know why she changed her vote.

This woman did her job. She studied the evidence and it changed her mind. She voted to acquit. She also told the interviewer that she tought the case should never have been brought in the first place due to lack of evidence, and that she felt the whole trial was a huge publicity stunt. For a black single mother of eight kids, I’d say this woman deserves accolades rather than the abuse she’s getting.

Any good interviewer’s follow up question would have been “You mean the same way your heart felt when OJ was acquitted”?
Since there was no evidence that George got away with murder, perhaps she would be wise the refrain from saying George got away with murder.

Which makes me wonder why she thought he was guilty at all!
How does someone come to that conclusion in the complete absence of evidence to the contrary?
Then how does she say that he got away with murder? And, if it was a publicity stunt, and that due to lack of evidence the case should have never been brought in the first place, then how did she vote for 2nd degree murder at all? The fact that she’s showing her face and using any name at all tells me that she’s trying to curry favor with someone.
I agree. Even though she FELT something otherwise, she did what she was supposed to as a good juror and voted by the law.
It rather makes me feel that I would not feel badly if somone in her family was having the crap beat out of them and no way to defend themselves. That WOULD be justice.
