Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon has ordered the Coordinator of Government Activities in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, Maj. Gen. Eitan Dangot, to turn down any request by the European Union which relates to these regions, Channel 2 News reported on Thursday evening.
Yaalons directive is a direct response to the EUs new guidelines which forbid any contact with Israeli companies operating beyond the 1949 Armistice Lines, said the report.
According to Channel 2 News, Yaalon instructed Dangot to make it difficult for the Europeans to operate in Judea, Samaria and Gaza. In the past week, Israel has denied several European requests to fund projects in the Palestinian Authority. In addition, eight requests by EU officials to cross from Israel into PA-assigned areas were denied and meetings between EU and Israelis officials were canceled.

A good start.
Excellent! Yaalon is a good man.
However, what I really would want the Israelis to do is to start projecting a pipe-line from Haifa to Eilat. The EU expects to be able to buy all the gas and oil in the new fields around Cyprus and in the fields off the Israeli coast. But I am sure Cyprus and Israel can find customers in Asia who are willing and able to pay as much if not more than the destitute Europeans.
Israel should revisit the law, voted down in Knesset, that required NGO’s to reveal the source of their funding, and it should bar all organizations that receive a substantial portion of their funds from the EU from operating in Judea and Samaria
Israel could very effectively run a covert operation.
For instance, make a quiet deal with some preferred Paleo group “That *if* it kidnaps some EU individual, that Israel will pay them a given amount of money for that individual to be “released” to Israel, no questions asked.”
Then return the EU individual to Europe with a one way ticket and a bill for the release of the “hostage.”
This would effectively kick that individual out of Israel, embarrass the EU, and cost them money. A lot more money than Israel paid the preferred Paleos. Shipping and handling.
