New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is sounding more and more like President Barack Obama, the Big Government Democrat he palled around with shortly after last years Hurricane looking for federal aid.
Today Christie outright slammed pro-liberty legislators, calling them dangerous.
Speaking with the Washington Post, Christie warned against what he calls a strain of libertarianism thats going through both parties right now and making big headlines.
When asked by The Post if Senator Rand Paul is one of the dangerous libertarians, Governor Christie said, You can name any one of them thats engaged in this.
With Christies answer in the plural, it is likely that his statement was not only a reference to Sen. Rand Paul, but also Rep. Justin Amash, seeing that the Republican House member led a bold charge to defund all warrantless NSA searches earlier this week and nearly succeeded.
Despite Christies slam against the liberty-minded in the U.S. Congress, the fact is: the so-called strain of libertarianism is the only thing preventing the Grand Old Party from becoming completely irrelevant. Not only that, its the only Congressional faction that is most consistent in legislating according to the Constitution.
Christie is on the losing side. RINOs are going extinct.
Same mold, only bigger! Statism is what it is!!!!!
This is why I’m done with the Republican party. Too many liberals.
You are what you eat.
Nice.
Have a salad and STFU fatso!
He commented that after 9/11 we should not stand in the way of surveillance of potential problems. Hey fatboy, the prime reason which was shown by the post 9/11 investigations for the failure to uncover it was a lack of coordination between the agencies. They had the info, no one in command was able to put it all together. So, expanding information collection way beyond the bounds of the 4th amendment is not the way one increases coordination. I am sure the NKVD under Beria and the Gestapo under the Nazis had wonderful ways to collect information but we don’t need that here either.
Cristi, two laps around him will be a future Olympic event.
Christie is Obama’s “inner child”.
Chris Christie sounds like Obama
Has anyone else heard BO and thought they were listening to Limbaugh? Not the message, the voice. There’s a radio commercial for Hannity that contains an audio clip of Obama that gets me almost every time I hear it.
Psycho warfare tactic.
She used to bed with Bill Maher.
Christie is a fat-ass, Lou Costello look-a-like f**king RINO!
I’ll pile on...
I have a message for the round one...ESAD you putz Jersey Mook!
Despite his false claims of conservatisim, Crispy’s support in “fly over states” would amount to an a$$ stomping if he enters outside his puke ass state!
I have a gut feeling the McLame’s and Gramnesty’s are “short timing” too! Lord hear our prayer!
In fact, Rubio n Ryan...one of the two idiot traitors will fall, which one will the rinos attempt to put all the pieces back together again on? No matter...just culling the herd!
Actually I like her toughness but the rest tells me to just let that opinion go.
Like Romney, Christie supports Obama, ObamaCARE
and al Qaeda.
The GOP is IDENTICAL to the DNC in corruption and lying.
They are also identical to predators.
Iron Law of Politics: people know who their friends are.
The above statement was left by a ‘Progressive’. The campaign to brand Republicans as evil is almost complete. (”Basically, if youre young, if youre black, if youre of modest circumstances, if youre female, if you respect science, if you’re gay, the GOP f***in hates you.”) The only way for a R politician to get attention is to sound like a D. We’re on the highway to ruin and there’s no exit ramps.
Stay Puft Christie has reached the pinnacle of his competence as the governor of NJ. His highest political act has been to disrespect the teachers unions. An enjoyable show well-played, but not presidential material.
Though it would be fun to see him debate Biden and wrestle with Putin
And the reason the transformation is moving along so smoothly is, for whatever reason, most of the GOP is complicit. I've given up trying to understand why normally astute conservative minded people cannot acknowledge that fact.
People who can read the intent between the lines of the leftist edicts blanketed by layers of White House agenda adjustments, stone silence and denials still think those who lead the Republican party are stupid and lack discernment. Nothing's further from the truth.
People may know who their friends are. For the millions of reality disconnects who make up the foundation the republican leadership rely on, the problem is recognizing their enemies.
