TED CRUZ: MAINSTREAM MEDIA LIKE 'TIMID,' 'HOUSE-TRAINED' REPUBLICANS
Breitbart ^ | 7-26-13 | Tony Lee

Posted on 07/27/2013 11:27:30 AM PDT by ReformationFan

On Thursday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) blistered the mainstream media for favoring Republicans who are docile and trained to parrot policy positions Democrats prefer. “There are a lot of Democrats and folks in the media who like their Republicans timid and house-trained to just sit quietly in the corner, to accept losing, and to stand for nothing," Cruz said on Sean Hannity's radio show. Cruz said Americans are fed up with such Republicans who are no different from Democrats and offer no alternative. Hannity said Cruz was not one of those "house-trained" Republicans, and that is why the mainstream media is attacking him. He said Democrats and the mainstream media fear Cruz because he is a "strong conservative," 'knows the law," is articulate and an intellectual. Hannity said that is a "combination" they "fear." Cruz made his remarks while the two were talking about de-funding Obamacare and the battle on the horizon over the continuing resolution. Cruz said any Republican that votes for the looming continuing resolution is "affirmatively voting to put money behind Obamacare." The current continuing resolution that was passed to fund the government expires on September 30.

And that about sums it up. If the Republicans would just act exactly like the Democrats, there'd be no problems according to the lamestream media.

“There are a lot of Democrats and folks in the media who like their Republicans timid and house-trained to just sit quietly in the corner, to accept losing, and to stand for nothing,"

...and there's plenty of republicans who are more than willing to accomodate their desires for a little piece of the status pie and a carte blanche pass to the DC cocktail party circuit.

Amen to that. No fair that Texas gets the good one. MY state needs a Cruz of our own.

Then, we can make Ted Cruz Majority leader and put the Senate on Cruz control, powered by the U.S. Constitution!

Is it one of those “impeach Obama” overpasses?

I read about one in Chicago. Wondering if the Houston one is similar.

I’m fine with citizens’ signs on overpasses, billboards etc.

For Ted Cruz, I’m fine with him keeping on doing exactly what he is doing.

His JOB - for Texas, conservatives, the Constitution and America.

No to him standing next to signs saying where’s the real birth certificate, go back to Kenya, impeach, etc.

Not saying what the citizen overpass media says. I’m just asking because I don’t know.

And would hope Cruz keeps on Cruzin’ his way.

I think republicans have the same problem with blacks.

The party wants nice tame negroes like Michael Steele but black voters have zero respect for them. What we really need are blacks who wouldn’t be perceived as being afraid to walk the streets of Detroit.

God Bless Ted Cruz! I read his comments and McNuts and Grahmnesty come immediately to mind..."...Republicans timid and house-trained to just sit quietly in the corner, to accept losing, and to stand for nothing,"...

Yep! McNuts and Grahamnesty!

...folks in the media who like their Republicans timid and house-trained...

How about "corrupt and house-trained?" RINOs make deals instead of representing constituents. Media propagandize instead of reporting news. Both make a living by NOT functioning as is proper to their roles. Most private sector employers don't tolerate that kind of graft. Unfortunately our media and our govt are so corrupt as to promote it.

But when we actually HAVE one of those, like Allen West — look what the RINO GOP in Florida did to him in redistricting. The GOP pussies in the FL legislature screwed him good, on purpose, to get him out of Congress.

Was just sayingthis re McCain and Palin. He wouldn’t let her seak for fear of offending the media

Reagan didn’tworry about media. He was working for the interests of the country vis the constitution New York went Reagan

Romney lost as soon as as he backed away from his 47%gaffe

No republican willever win the White House being at all afraid of the media. Not now Not even if he is on coservative radio every day

The pres works for the people. Not for the NYT.

No republican can ever win who secretly disagrees wirh that. Not even if they open the gates from Mexico and give away the rest of our kids’ future money amd pose a la Rubio schmoozing wththe Patreus dame

Senator Cruz as usual, exhibits logic. I imagine that The only entity the Republican Establishment fears and loathes more than the media is Twd Cruz. Pesky logic.

Anyway, Conservatives will not get behind timidity. It’s not in their nature. Moderates don’t have any reason to vote for a timid Republican

McCain tries to overcome that image by fighting fellow Republicans but grom the left. Ditto Romney, past tense.

It never works. They los their base, moderates and founding principals. They don’t learn. Rubio is lost. He’ll be the last to know Cruz is correct

I’ll take one for insiration and direction

He even uses the phrase, ‘different from’, instead of the illogical, ‘different than’

Swoon

Is Cruz great or what!!!! No, he’s not perfect but he is damn sure a fighter. If there are any conservatives comptemplating a move to Texas,,I’d say with open arms “Get Your Butts Down Here!” The Dems are really pushing to make it blue,,,Texas is a huge state and the conservatives really need to protect it!

Plus, you get Ted Cruz as a bonus!

Obviously the NSA doesn’t have anything on Cruz. Of course, they can always make something up.
