TED CRUZ: MAINSTREAM MEDIA LIKE 'TIMID,' 'HOUSE-TRAINED' REPUBLICANS
Breitbart ^ | 7-26-13 | Tony Lee

Posted on 07/27/2013 11:27:30 AM PDT by ReformationFan

On Thursday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) blistered the mainstream media for favoring Republicans who are docile and trained to parrot policy positions Democrats prefer. “There are a lot of Democrats and folks in the media who like their Republicans timid and house-trained to just sit quietly in the corner, to accept losing, and to stand for nothing," Cruz said on Sean Hannity's radio show. Cruz said Americans are fed up with such Republicans who are no different from Democrats and offer no alternative. Hannity said Cruz was not one of those "house-trained" Republicans, and that is why the mainstream media is attacking him. He said Democrats and the mainstream media fear Cruz because he is a "strong conservative," 'knows the law," is articulate and an intellectual. Hannity said that is a "combination" they "fear." Cruz made his remarks while the two were talking about de-funding Obamacare and the battle on the horizon over the continuing resolution. Cruz said any Republican that votes for the looming continuing resolution is "affirmatively voting to put money behind Obamacare." The current continuing resolution that was passed to fund the government expires on September 30.

OK...so citizens GET OFF THE COACH...and guess what...full blown critique here.

We are fighting AMNESTY and CITIZEN SIGNS SAY STUFF LIKE:
IMPEACH OBAMA, OBAMA SUPPORTS TERROR,ETC...

There is nothing wrong with citizens expressing themselves and JOLTING AMERICANS OUT OF THEIR FRIGGIN TRANCE.
Thanks for undermining our efforts...

We had to suffer the do-nothing term of Kay Bailey Hutchison. Voting for Cruz was the best vote I made since November 84’.

Magna,,not sure what your criticism is directed at..can you clarify?

FWIW, I think Conservatives need to focus and if we are going to go after any one/group it needs to be a combo attack:

1). DOJ - get HOlder out of there. Without Holder, Obama is a little more exposed and vulnerable.
2). Go after the squishes and replace them all with wackobirds like Ted!!!!

Just my two cents.

I’ve looked hard but can’t find a single thing wrong with Cruz. The guy is as good as a politician can get IMO.

I do believe he is destined to be more than just a good Senator. I watched his speech at the Christians United for Israel Washington Summit last week. This is what an American President is supposed to sound like. And we have not had this for a LONG time.

The Dems certainly do. Part of this may be because the lefties see increasing the size and scope and the government as their reason for existence. Take that away from them and what have they got?

I like that subtle spin with quote marks, they are courtesy (what's left of) Breitbart.

LLS, we just moved to Texas after a lengthy stay in Mizzouree and we can’t be happier. Ted Cruz has balls the size of Houston and he doesn’t hesitate to move them around. I look forward to his next take on the milquetoast media and the ‘challenged’ politicians that purportedly espouse Republican principles. What are those principles again?

Problems, as there is no room for them in the private sector. They’ll have to suffer the same horrors the producer class did over the last five years. Can’t happen fast enough.

I have family in Texas and I lived there for about 5 years back in the early 70’s. I loved Texas. I am from Mississippi but if things go South, I am coming back.
