How sad that an illiterate young girl who is 19 and going into senior year of high school, can’t read ‘curses’ or even say it apparently gets a free ride to college and engineers are struggling with student loans?
This whole damn country is upside down.
I've gotten to where about all I watch on Fox News is Special Report and Judge Jeanine. Hannity became the Martin / Zimmerman Show for how long since the verdict? As I have said before here, the 'fair and balanced' approach on Fox is our side presents our reasoned position and the other side calls us baby killers and mass murderers and that passes for 'fair and balanced'? Fine, but count me out.
Now to get 'balance' we have to go to the Great Britain press... THE GB PRESS! Does that tell any FReepers how much freedom is left in this country?
They put that Marxist air-head woman on Special Report who told us that the reason Detroit went belly up is because of Republicans. ...and that passes for 'fair and balanced'? That passes for token stupidity. I am fed up with it! [And that is how I really feel!]
Let me add.....do conservatives (who are SO grateful for Fox's "fair and balanced" schtick) ever bother to do the numbers?
Let's take the week-night political programming as an example.
The Enemies of the Republic control the news, analysis and opinion on most of the regular and cable network shows (minus Fox) lined up between 6 PM and 11 PM Eastern....let's say they're 90% socialist/marxist/social justice/racist during these hours. They don't pretend to be even-handed.
Now IF we choose to believe that Fox News is "fair and balanced" we will concede that our side is portrayed reasonably, factually and sanely in approximately half of the cable network's evening programming. So where does that leave the Left's propaganda on Fox in the nightly programming?
Why, bingo, it gets its Fox's 50% air-time added to its already existing 90% afforded them on other networks.....so Spin-and-Lie-Time every evening is enhanced 50% by Fox, which brings the Left to a whopping 140% of TV evening propaganda domination !!!
Well, as you can see I'm not a real mathematician, LOL, but I'm sure everyone certainly gets my drift.
Too many conservatives cling to Fox like a drowning man to a straw. But reality tells us that we're actually clinging to 50% of Fox's straw in a sea of fake news, adulterated news and censored news bombarding us on all news programming each evening. The Fox half-straw we clutch is but a shred that is almost inconsequential in this liberal sea.
Fox disrespects us with its amoral "moral equivalency" applied to conservatives and leftists......we're all "equal" ya know.....and the liberals/marxists who are in the know have to be happy campers because they know they have not only their foot in the door at Fox, but half their body, too....same as the Right.
In short, Fox, with its preening and crowing about fairness and balance, enables those who would destroy our way of life to wreak their havoc on our air waves almost at will. The leftist propagandists on Fox's programs obtain "gravitas" (and high incomes at the same time) through their personal exposure nationwide. This enables them to achieve more success in infesting other avenues of communication (such as speaking engagements on campuses and elsewhere) to the low-info folks in this country.
I see the late 1930s in Germany all over again, only happening here. Except at that time, Goebbels and his vast ministry of propaganda had TOTAL control of the media countrywide. Those in the media who didn't conform were soon out of business or were never heard from again. The populace was mostly asleep, distracted by massive entertainment events and various staged political street dramas.
The American sheeple are programmed to think that because of Fox, American TV as a whole is "fair and balanced", and, as we see, nothing is futher from the truth. In the grand scheme of things, the Left has just shy of total command of nightime TV.
What's galling is that Fox maintains the Grand Illusion every night that it's doing the American public and conservatives everywhere a terrific favor by being "fair and balanced".
It may well be fair and balanced time-wise and guest-wise on its evening programs.....but the Left can do very well with only 50% propaganda availability in ANY setting.
History shows us that the Left has done well many times in many countries with way LESS than 50% of media availability.

What needs to be done, and I don’t know why it hasn’t ever happened, is for true conservatives starting their own television channel that is all conservative commentary and news, all the time. Where are some rich conservatives to pool money to start such a channel, I ask? Why hasn’t it happened?
I have to say that though I move in a wide circle of conservative and GOP friends, neighbors, relatives and business associates, I've never yet encountered a single soul who watches Beck. Probably some of my freeper buddies do, but I've never heard them talk about it, either. I like Beck and his work but I personally can't stand his radio talk show in the mornings.
I don't know if a conglomerate of wealthy conservatives owning a channel or network would work. As they say, getting conservatives to agree on various things is like herding cats. It could be chaos with ownership pulling in independent directions.
Therefore, I suppose it would take one mega-rich, strong-minded individual like a Soros, a Murdoch, a Limbaugh or someone else to get a popularly-watched conservative channel off the ground.
I don't see anything at all emerging in that direction right now, however.

Like Andrew Breitbart said, the real enemy is the media! He added, every American with a camera is the “new media”. It is a real shame that the Breitbart team of today has gone into being “politically correct” to the point that I don't go there any more.
I go elsewhere, and to Drudge for sure!
