Wow, we should be progressive and do what the progressive UK is doing, because they are trendy!!!

I don’t think this argument will work with this issue....

If we had the cajones to do the same thing, I think we would be amazed by the numbers who would report for voluntary deportation.

You could even sweeten the pot like this:

  1. $500 vouchers which could be picked up at the nearest U.S. consulate once the deportees got home. Good only for the first 30 days or half million volunteers, whichever came first.
  2. $250 vouchers for the next 30 days, next half million.
  3. No voucher but nice hot lunch and air-conditioned bus ride for the third tier.
  4. Keep cranking it down until the last tier gets bologna sandwiches and a rickety bus ride.
  5. Then start charging for the bus rides and bologna sandwiches, reasonable at first up to forfeiture of assets to those who fail to report.

My sister said a program like this worked wonders in her hometown of Houston to empty Katrina refugees out of the astrodome.

They spent a lot of money on one-way tickets out of Houston, but cut the problem down to manageable levels in record time.

There’s nothing like being up to your ears in illegals to snap you into common sense.

Why not: “You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here”

A drop in the bucket, but a nice drop.

Can we post a bunch of “Go Home” signs on the inside of the fence around the White House, facing in?
