If you aren’t paying the full freight then other people are carrying your water. Would you feel better if we called it the lazy parent subsidy instead of welfare? In a way you’re worse than an inner city welfare queen. At least they are using government to pick my pocket for food and shelter but you’re using govermnet to put a gun to the heads of your neighbors so your kids can play a damned game. My kids are schooled at home, and I pay school taxes.
If my kids want to play sports, I will pay the necessary fees (just as I would if they went to government schools).
