Well THAT'S it I’m against defunding now that Charlie K is against it. UGH this guy is a moron and one of the reasons I don’t watch Fox anymore. Who told this Shiite head he is some kind of expert?

They should also repeal the individual and employer mandates

Actually I think he’s right. Republican’s are gutless when it comes to this sort of thing. They’ll never follow through with shutting down the government and if they do the Dems will make them look like the bad guys.

Perhaps he could point out some of the really smart ideas that have occurred in DC ?

Conservatives are not gutless. RINOs, though, will collude while making themselves seem “gutless” so long as it serves the radical agenda.

They should also repeal the individual and employer mandates If I'm not mistaken, that's already been done -- and sent to the Senate. Where, of course, it will die.

if they do the Dems will make them look like the bad guys Conservatives SO SO SO don't want to even LOOK like bad guys, while bad guys like Weiner & Spitzer do and they keep running & winning, retiring and rerunning. What does that tell us?
Maybe conservatives should be the good bad guys for a change.

They will cave, and thus, he is 100% correct.

I used to think Charles was a stand-up guy. But he’s not — he’s just a Liberal.

Never issue a threat youre not prepared to in the end honor and deliver on, Krauthammer said. And if the Republicans imagine theyre going to either stop the funding of the government or refuse the raising of the debt ceiling, theyre out of their minds. It would be a catastrophe in the end. All the president has to do is wait and theyre going to cave.
Giving the devil his due, Krauthammer is right about this.
If the Republicans aren't prepared to fight to the death on this issue, there's no point in pursuing it -- if, in the end, they're going to cave.
On the other hand, this could be a hill worth dying for. Defund Obamacare, force the Democrat Senate to defend the hugely unpopular program. Conceivably, in a fight to the finish, there just might be enough Democrats who are afraid of Obamacare to win the day.
Then, this would force Obama to veto the measure. If the GOP stood strong, would the voters -- who hate Obamacare -- support the Congress...or Obama?
But the whole scenario depends upon the Republican House leadership to have balls of stainless steel. When they obviously don't have the stomach for doing anything difficult...

Which is why the GOP is worthless to conservatives. They pass worthless bills that will never make it anywhere. When they actually can do something, they don’t.
