Embattled Mayor Bob Filner is asking San Diego taxpayers to cover the legal fees he'll incur from a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by a former staff member.

Why?
If the mayor is being sued over official actions as part of his job, or sued over actions of the city government, the discussion of who pays legal bills is very different than this situation.
In this situation, he is personally accused of various actions, actions which are not part of his official duties or part of actions of the city government. Do Democrats see the difference??

I know all women are different but I have NEVER put up with that crap from anyone, and I worked in night clubs for 20 years.
Well, what could be more "patriotic" than paying taxes for Filner's legal fees?
